If I were Dancing King of the Ballroom, I would decree this cast for Season 12 of Dancing with the Stars.

Landon Donovan (American soccer player) and Edyta Sliwinska 

Lisa Leslie (retired WNBA player) and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Martin Short (actor and comedian) and Anna Trebunskaya 

Bonnie Wright (actor) and Derek Hough

Tyson Beckford (model) and Chelsie Hightower 


Amber Riley (actor) and Louis van Amstel

Eddie Izzard (comedian and actor) and Lacey Schwimmer

Valerie Bertinelli (actor) and Jonathan Roberts

    Dear "Not queen, not duke, not prince", have you submitted your dream cast to the show? I can almost see Cathy Rigby bouncing out a jive or Valerie in a waltz. Amber would be both funny and intense.

    I knew I'd see Valerie on your list. What a great title for your post, too. Made me smile from the get-go! I can't complain. I got Michael Bolten for a short time, but "fi . . . fi" were queen, they'd edit in Chuck Heston in his Moses costume for a quick step! ;-)
