Best Uncle Ever

So my niece has been saving for a new phone.  The one she has is a couple of years old.  She has wanted an iPhone, and she had saved about half of the money for it.

I bought it for her.

I totally rock the uncle gig.

Now, I wouldn't have done it if she didn't already have permission from my sister to get it.  My sis was going to wait until my niece's birthday in November.  If she hadn't saved all of the money, then they were going to make up the difference and get her the phone. 

So she gets to take the money she saved and do something else with it.

Yup, I rock.

    Yup, you do rock the uncle gig!

    I sent my old iPhone to my nephew a few months ago. His wife has had one for years, in fact she's the reason I originally had to have an iPhone! With a new baby, he realized his old phone just wouldn't do any more!

    I think I might rock the awesome auntie gig a little bit, too! :D

    Damn! Jamie stole my comment! I was going to ask too if you could adopt me but not necessarily for an IPad as we don't get enough service where I live to even make a decent regular cellphone a reasonable purchase. But I'm sure, given a little time, I could come up with some other giftie item you could get for me that would keep you on as the Rocking Uncle! yes, indeed!
