Tuesday Tunes
Posted: Tuesday, January 02, 2007 by Travis Cody inI've been doing this for a couple weeks now - ever since I figured out what I was doing wrong when I tried to post music. I think I'll continue this as a regular feature. Sometimes I'll have a theme. But most often the only theme will be great music that I enjoy.
So here is the first Tuesday Tunes for 2007.
I'm a big Billy Joel fan and this is one of my favorites. It's relaxed and sweet. It reminds me that there are times when all I need is to be able to look in Pam's eyes and everything is fine.
One of the finest singers of all time. Patsy's voice was full and rich and settled into that sexy low register that makes my spine tingle.
Thanks to Julie for reminding me about this song.
Joe Cocker sang rock, pop, blues, soul, jazz - you name it. The man's voice fit around any song in any style. And this song reminds me that when I'm together with my lady, it never matters how long I had to wait.
This is simply one of my favorite songs.
How wonderful. Wish I could get tunes on my blog, but at least I can enjoy them on yours.
