I agree with the importance of keeping the original three together. But it's hard to fault her relutance, she wanted to worry about school and not acting.

I'm glad the trio are returning, but I'm just as concerned about the teachers: Hagrid, Snape, McGonnagal, and though I don't care for Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore, I guess I'd still rather he stay on than get a new one.

Songbird: I've been buried in the sand a bit the last few days. I agree with you about Gambon, but I do hope he carries on through Half Blood Prince, just for continuity sake.
John: That's true. And nice to see that her focus is on her studies.
Kate: Agreed. The rest of the cast is just as important, including so many of the kids as their roles become more integral.

I am made up too!
Are reading the books, as well as watching the movies?

just noticed your counting down the book as well as the film!
How long did it take you to read the half blood prince?

Claire: I did see the movie Sorcerer's Stone before I read the book. Then I read very quickly through the first three books and had to wait for Goblet of Fire. My tradition now is to get the books as soon as I can and read them through twice.

Such a great series! and the movies really do the books justice. I am glad she signed on again.
I would have mentioned this to you, but I thought you had already heard the news. I'm glad the three leads see the importance of their continued association with this franchise and will stay with their characters to the final chapter. I know it was not his fault (death and all) but I have a difficult time NOT seeing Richard Harris as Dumbledore. Michael Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore has him a bit more "dotty" if you know what I mean.
