Before we continue our tour through my library, a word about Dance.

Yes, we are hooked on another dancing show. So You Think You Can Dance has selected its Top 20 dancers for our enjoyment and voting pleasure. I've decided not to bore you with any reviews at this stage. There are 10 pairs of dancers and that's too much.

I will tell you that we enjoyed the dancing last night, but we have no favorites at this time. We did not vote. We may vote later in the season, but right now none of the dancers has really captured our interest.

There is quite a bit of talent and I think this will be an excellent competition.

And now, join me in the library!

You can check out previous author lists here and here.

Here are the next 13 authors on the shelves.

1. Glen Cook - Annals of the Black Company
2. Hugh Cook - Wizard War
3. Stephen Coonts - The Siege
4. Geoffrey Cotterell - Westward the Sun
5. Harold Coyle - Trial By Fire
6. John Coyne - Hobgoblin
7. Amanda Cross - The James Joyce Murders
8. Bryan Daley - Doomfarers of Coramonde, Starfollowers of Coramonde
9. Robert Daley - The Dangerous Edge
10. Lionel Davidson - The Menorrah Men
11. L Sprague DeCamp - The Reluctant King
12. John M DelVecchio - The 13th Valley
13. Peter DeVries - Tents of Wickedness

Hey y'all, I haven't had much time the last few evenings to do my blog rounds. I'll be catching up in the next few days.

Later babies!

    Rearrange your books =)

Have fun with the Top 20 dancers!

  1. We're watching SYTYCD too. Loved last season, and Benji was our early favorite. I like his sister, too, this season.

  1. I am so impressed with your library...We cut ours down recently when we moved....sorrowful...

  1. Danielle says:

I have a question for you Trav.
    Do you dance?

    As always wishing you well.

  1. JAM says:

I love to read, but haven't heard of most of these. You'll have to list 13 of your favorite authors, so I can try some new ones. I hate paying for a book that I end up hating, and like to read books that people recommend. It cuts the odds of buying junk way down.

  1. Lara: I read them over periodically. They are two of my favorites.

Sanni: No more shelving by color!

Joely: Benji was our favorite from the beginning too. We're partial to the ballroom dancers.

V: Very sorrowful. I can't imagine parting with any of my books.

Bee: There's CAKE in the fridge darlin!

Danielle: I do. Gram taught us jitterbug, Mom taught us swing and all the dances from the 50's, my aunt taught us her dances from the 60's, and I learned how to waltz for my sister's wedding. Now my lady and I take the occasional class. I love dancing.

Jam: I'll do a Friday Favorites!

  1. Julie says:

Good job. I love a man passionate about his books!

    Dance on my friend!

  1. My shelves look sad compared to yours. I'm with Sanni - I need to rearrange!

I heard about the little Mormon girl that was chosen for the top 20 - "Shut the front door!" Too cute.

  1. I like Coonts quite a bit. Good list, Trav!
