Link 'em up

Posted: Saturday, August 25, 2007 by Travis Cody in

It's been awhile since I tended to my side bar links. I've been visiting some new sites, and some old friends have gone missing. So time to tidy up.

I wait and I wait, and I keep checking, but when there hasn't been a post in more than three months...well I guess that means the blogger has had to move on with a new phase of life. I hope that's what it is. Fortunately there were only a couple of links like this, which sadly have been deleted.

There are a couple other links to blogs that seem to be inactive...but I'm aware of the situations with those folks and I'll hang in there and wait to see if they return to blogging.

On a happier note, I've added some blogs I've been enjoying. If you have time, and if they aren't already on your rounds, check out:

Are We There Yet - Linda has a pretty solid readership. I'd seen her comment on many of the blogs I visit regularly and finally through Manic Monday I cruised on over.

Jantics and Jantrails - These two blogs are from the lovely Janna. I don't know how she finds time to be zany on three blogs, but she definitely gets it done.

The 108 - Kyra will tell it like she sees it in plain language and pulling no punches.

The Mo Show - I am a proud FOMo. But beyond that, Morgen uses this blog to promote his Blog Talk Radio show as well as to review books, movies, television, and theatre.

Time With Shelby - Is it law school or grad school? Well, right now it's a class or two that Shelby had to fight to be allowed to take. And law school or grad school still looms in the future.

I love good writing, whether it's in books or magazines or on blogs. In fact, I've got a special section of links to writers who also blog. I've added a few links here as well:

A Walk on the Weird Side - Kate S writes "A blog for speculative fiction fans and writers".

Cursuum Perfidio - Fans of Flash 55 fiction (a story told in 55 words) will enjoy this blog. Pauline is a talented writer of short fiction and poetry.

EDog's Everything Page - My pal Turn turned me on to Ian Healy's page. He just shared a tidbit from the sequel to his book The Milkman.

Mischief & Magic - This is the blog home of paranormal and erotic romance writer, Kate Sterling. Yes, this is the second Kate S blog I visit.

Razored Zen - Charles Gramlich is a teacher and author, and his posts are really educational for would-be writers. I feel like I'm stealing an education when I read this blog.

You can see how long it's been since I linked 'em up. Thank you all for your entertaining posts.
