  1. Jay says:

Spinal Tap will always have a special place in my heart.

  1. Matt-Man says:

Christopher Guest is a comedic genius. Cheers!!

  1. Jamie says:

Those are all great examples. Spinal Tap can still make me shriek with laughter. I also love movies that use existing music such as The Commitments. Nothing quite like a bunch of Irish musicians singing "I'm Black and I'm Proud". Best song in the movie, "Dark Side of the Moon".

  1. Love the PeeWee song!

Look at me, I'm dancing the bird!!!!!

  1. this post goes to eleven!

Jamie: I should have added the Commitments and Pink Floyd, but I didn't think of them until you mentioned them. Rats!

Lois: It was the dance of the day, wasn't it?

I love John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band. They actually put out two great albums after the movies.

  1. Dana says:

Hehe! Thanks for the trip down memory lane? You know that part in Pee Wee's Big Adventure where he is riding with the truck driver? Man, that scares the willies out of me!

  1. Travis says:

    Roger: Outlandish and outrageous.

Julie: Now dangit! That's just not right.

John: I knew they had one other album but I didn't know about a second one. I'll have to go searching.
