Message in a Bottle - Round 2

Thanks for the well wishes regarding my shoulder pain. I'm doing better today...in fact, I woke up as pain free as I ever get and worked an entire day with no trouble. I'm a little sore this evening, but nothing like the last few days.

My man David Cook is safe on the show that shall not be named. I'm pretty happy about that. I don't know if he can win. But I'm thinking that the closer DC gets to top four or five the better chance I'll have to buy his CD later this year.

There was a bit of a shock as Michael Johns was eliminated. He never really connected with me, or with Pam, but I know he was the favorite of some of my blogging pals. So to them I say, I'm sorry your guy is out.

Now Queen Mimi has decreed that there should be a second round of Messages in Bottles.

If you didn't participate in this meme the last time it went around, I encourage you to give it a try. It's a Mimi original, and you can see more than 220 messages at the official Message in a Bottle website.

I've done a couple. This is my first one...

You may post the virtual bottle on your own website as long as a direct link is placed back to the Message in a Bottle blog. The graphic may not be altered. Your submission will be numbered and dated. Send in as many as you'd like. If you choose to remain anonymous, no identifying information will EVER be disclosed to anyone. You can also choose NOT to be anonymous in which case Mimi will post the name and url of your website.

    I was a little suprised that M. Johns got eliminated. Felt like it should've been Sayesha(sp?) or Kristy Lee. Hopefully next week for one of them.

    David's my pick. Next best is Jason Castro, then Brooke White. Having said that, none of the alternatives have what David has. He is a super star.

    David A. has a very nice voice, but he's no star in my book.

    While Micheal was not my favorite I was totally shocked that he got eliminated. I felt sure it was time for Syesha to be gone. All in all, I'm thinking it's going to get down to a battle of the 'Davids' in the end.

    Hey Trav...I was shocked last night when Michael Johns was voted off. I liked him alot and he was my first pick in the beginning before DC won my heart. He is awesome. I think that we will be seeing more of MJ's though, I saw Randy Jackson talking to him in his ear at the end of the show. All I can think of is that everyone must have thought he would be safe and didn't cast a vote for him. How very sad. I think one of the two gals should have gone home instead. I hope our DC wins this, but we know either way he is going to be a winner. :-)

    David Cook has my votes too. Glad we are on the same page. I was sad Michael Johns went as he had MUCH more talent than Barbie Lee Cook or Syesha - who is not now nor ever will be Whitney and does anyone REALLY want another Whitney anyhow?????!

    Now - let me start by saying I really, really love David Cook, and my husband is my witness that I have been saying for several weeks now "David Cook is just wasting his time with AI now, because he could already be at the top of the charts. He's awesome!". Now, with that said - I must admit, I ♥ Michael Johns and was near tears when he was sent home. Even Hubs was saying "NO freaking WAY!" Yes, I admit, I like to 'look' at Michael Johns just as much as I like to hear him - but, the man does have lots of talent!
