Mo's Manic Monday - Under

Cats! They get under stuff. Like...
...sofa cushions...
...and each other...
...and dog ears...
...and blankets...
...and feet!
I said it the other day. Boston is a damn good defensive team.
The Lakers were aggressive going to the basket in game 2, but they were so worried about the contact down low that they didn't focus on just scoring the ball. They missed shots early, and then got frustrated and let that dominate their play.
The Celtics are going to be in your face all game long. They will keep ratcheting up the pressure until the whistle blows. The Lakers need to be prepared for that, not back down from it, stay aggressive, and play through it.
Maybe going back to LA will loosen up the bench players so they can be a little more relaxed, get their confidence back, and find a way to play defense without fouling so much. And maybe make some shots.
It's tough to come back from 0-2 in the Finals. I believe it has only been done 3 times before, by Boston over LA 4-3 in 1969, by Portand over Philadelphia 4-2 in 1977, and by Miami over Dallas 4-2 in 2006.
Now the Lakers have three games in LA to try and get back in the series and put a little pressure on Boston. I'm encouraged by the way they played in the 4th quarter last night, outscoring the Celtics 41-25 and almost coming all the way back from a 22 point deficit.
But there are no moral victories in the NBA Finals. You have to win games. 
Hey Travis, GREAT Manic Monday post!! I love the first one, it's so cute. Of course, though, they all are. Cats really are some of the greatest people. Oh, and they often get under your covers, and sometimes even under your skin, haha.
