Kitty plus water does not usually equal a good time. I know it doesn't with Mr Tucker.

So much for my stereotypes about kitties!

Yesterday was a proud day for our friends to the north. Sorry to be a day late wishing my friends Happy Canada Day!

And now...

It's in their blood, eh?

  1. Although I don't like cats, I've gotta say that the kitten which was caught playing with water is kinda cute!

The diving cat thing is too weird.

Swimming's one thing, but strapping heavy equipment to your pet and sinking it in a pool... not sure about that.

What is it the kids are jigging about to?

  1. lovely sunset picture!

but those hockey kids...they are soooo happy....too cute!

  1. i wonder if mr. whiskers and nancy would like to do that? ha ha ha

I had to wash Ling once when she got into something foul. You'd think I was killing her.

I'd never even try to wash Sam;-)

  1. Terra: He sure didn't look like a happy kitty though.

Julie: LOL! I guess Vinny & I are interchangeable!

TC: The kids are jiggy with the Hockey Night in Canada theme. I posted it for my pals up north.

Katherine: They sure turned it on at the first notes!

Bee: Now that's a whole new doodle series...scuba kitty & pet scuba spider!

Lois: I'll bet he gets his revenge.

Charles: I'm always careful that way. One never knows.

V: Methinks mayhap our dear Miss Julie may have a screw or seven loose!

Turn: I've never even considered dunking Mr Tucker in any water.

Trav,Harver looks just like that kitten after a bath as well with one exception he has a bad attitude about it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Big Time Hugs and God's blessing headed your way!

  1. Kimmie says:

Oh Goodness, you know me Trav, kitties are my heart. <3 I just loved this photo of the kitty all wet, and I agree with Charles, he does look a bit like a Gremlin! I just loved that movie. The scuba diving dog and cat video was cute. I think the cat looks perfectly happy as the guy said, it must relax him. The dog seemed happy also. I haven't tried to give Miss Boo a bath yet. So far she has done an excellent job of keeping herself spic and span. Thank The Maker! ;-) Loved the Tribute to Canada, beautiful photo and the video was adorable. Very Fun Post...thanks for sharing.
    Hugs,
    Kimmie

I can not imagine trying that with any of my cats. I'd be one giant scratch mark from head to toe.

  1. Schmoop says:

Don't worry about being a day late...Those drunk Canadians don't remember it anyway. Cheers Trav!!

  1. Jeni says:

I LOVED this post - great videos! I'll have to make sure to show it and the videos to Mandy in the morning as I know she'll love them too!

  1. Love the scubadiving cat and the little wet kitten! I feel bad I forgot to say happy Canada Day to our best friends the Canadians! Anyway, Happy 4th of July! Going to Boston for the weekend, be back Sunday. A couple of my posts are supposed to go up automatically, we'll see! :)

  1. That first picture is so pathetic & that last video is so priceless! (It is in their blood. I can attest to it.)

  1. Linda says:

I guess this just goes to show that it takes all kinds even in the world of kitties!

  1. Ann: That little bitty guy sure knew what he was listening to!

Mike: Nope...kitties and water don't often mix.

Kimmie: On my Google page I have a "Cat of the Day" photo widget. I've collected some really great kitty pics so far!

Jeff: No kidding! My Mr Tucker would never forgive me if I tried it.

Matt: Any excuse for a party I say!

Jeni: You can rarely go wrong talking about kitties!

Teach: Boston sounds like a great place to celebrate Independence!

Lana: Those little guys reminded me of how excited I used to get on Sunday morning waiting for the NFL to come on.

  1. j says:

How does he KNOW that the cat likes scuba diving? I mean really.

Your comment about your Mom made me smile. Yes indeed the first thing that I set up was the kitchen, but I didn't know why. Now, thanks to you and your mother, I DO!! The heart of our home is set to go!

    Take Care Travis.

Oh! And the first thing that my kids packed was their books. All three of them went to their book cases, without me saying to, and packed their books up. I was sort of proud, ya know?
