Welcome to another Manic Monday with Morgen. Don't forget to cruise by MM HQ at It's A Blog Eat Blog World. Today's theme is Boil.

Boil?

Well, I want to post videos from last Thursday's So You Think You Can Dance final results show. How do I do that with the word boil?

I know!

I'll bet the Top 4...Courtney Galiano, Katee Shean, Twitch Boss, and Joshua Allen...were boiling with nerves on Thursday.

HA!

These are the kids from the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, tapping with Nigel Lythgoe. If that doesn't make you smile, I can't help you.

We get two for the price of one in this clip. The first part is Five Guys Named Mo, choreographed by Nigel Lythgoe and danced by the Top 5 guys on Thursday. The second part is the brilliant work of Wade Robson and the dancers from Cirque du Soleil and Criss Angel's Believe.

I love that dancers from the first three seasons returned to the show, and that they shared the stage with the terrific Top 20 from this season.

Now I need to manage my withdrawals. No more dancing posts until Sept 22, when Dancing with the Stars returns!

  1. At the moment the main talent show in the UK is Last Choir Standing.
I get the feeling they're running out of ideas over here. Still, Strictly Come Dancing should be back soon. Now that's OK.

  1. Barb says:

So Trav, do you think YOU can dance? I'd love to see a video of that. Seriously. hahaha!

No more dancing until Sept 22? Oh my... how can I cope with that???

See, I've enjoyed every single post of yours in my reader... and it makes me sick I didn't manage to visit. Still working on a perfect plan how to juggle mommy duties, work and blogging... *sigh*

  1. Excellent videos and recap of the finale...you can do it Travis...digitize cassettes on Wednesday and Thursday nights and before you know it Sept 22 will be here

  1. Ivanhoe says:

Nice job pulling the boil out of dancing :o)
I won't be home to watch DWTS so you will be my "home base" the day after.

  1. Great post Travis! Thanks for visiting me! Happy MM! :)

  1. I've never watched this show, but I've got several friends who obsess over it... cracks me up!

    Hey Travis!

Great way to boil it up! ;-)

Thanks for the re-caps! So we are danceless for over a month...E-Gads!

    Hugs,
    Kimmie

Have a great day Travis. :)

  1. Five Guys Named Mo made me smile!
    :)
    Have a great week!

  1. Somehow you manage to make a themed post match your "obsession" du jour. You make me smile.

But you know how you can manage through your withdrawals, right? FOOTBALL!

  1. You should see me dance, I made up my own moves, no one can follow.

  1. Anthony: Last Choir? Now that is odd.

Anna: The more dancing the better I say!

WT4W: Well, we have taken ballroom class although it's been more than a year since our last class. I can waltz and do slow foxtrot, and on a good day I can get through a jive.

Sanni: We'll make it to September! I know how busy you must be. Come by when you can.

V: Now that's a good idea. And at least for now I have Little League, the Olympics, and football.

    Ivanhoe: **bows, tips hat**

Teach: Thanks...and you are most welcome my dear!

Clancy: I have danced, and will again sometime.

    Bee: I did!

  1. After hours: My whole family enjoys this one.

Akelamalu: Gotta love our tv obsessions!

    Kimmie: We'll make it!

Tink: This was the most talent of any previous season.

    Sandee: You too!

    Mo: I'll bet!

Songbird: You're right! Football should keep me going.

Sarge: I've heard that about you!

  1. Jeff B says:

I thought, "He actually posted something other than dance." then I read on...bwahahaha...good going.

I'm paitently waiting for football season to get under way. Those will be recaps I can sink my teeth into.

I don't know if you have an announcers voice or not, but with your talent for unfolding an event I'm thinking you'd be a natural.

  1. Janna says:

It will be interesting to see if you can keep your sanity between now and September 22.
By the time Sept 21 rolls around, you may be so desperate that you've taught Mr. Tucker to dance with any mice that come by.

  1. Very creative use of the word boil :)

  1. Marilyn says:

Way to go with using the word to post what you wanted to. I always have a hard time with that.

  1. Linda says:

It makes my blood boil that I can't dance hardly at all! I was cursed with two left feet and no rhythm at all! Sometimes life is just SO unfair!

  1. Jeff: People often tell me I should have gone into announcing. But I get nervous speaking in public. I can get through it, but it's not one of my favorite things. And thanks for not putting any pressure on my for my football reviews! LOL!

Janna: Mr Tucker actually has a silly dance he does in the hallway. I might have to get him to do that a couple of times a week.

    Terra: Thanks!

    Marilyn: I was determined.

Linda: Awwwww. You know, I've been in class with people who thought they couldn't be taught how to dance, and they did just fine and enjoyed themselves. If it's something you like and want to try, you should go for it!
