You have found my exception to the '40s' rule - a '56 T bird...dang but that's a sweet car.

And I still remember the first Mustang I ever saw - sitting on the show room floor. Too young to drive, but I was in love.

Excellent motor cars there...My Hemi Cuda is missing though...
Oh and the auto toilet seat covers...yeah I have seen them in airports...they kind of freak me out actually...but much better than those paper seat covers that make things get messy sometimes...

Oh! I had a '66 red Mustang with a black vinyl top when I was 16. I would love to have it back. Sad thing is I didn't like it because I had the rockin eighties hair and no air conditioning.
I was an idiot to let my car go because of hair.

And which one of these do you have? :o)
I'd really want Mustang Shelby if I had the money.

Travis likes sports, dancing and classic cars. Have a great day. :)

That T-bird -boy, does it bring back memories! A friend of mine, back in my much younger years, had one of those (his was a light green -really sharp) and I longed to drive it but he refused to allow that until one night when he got stranded down in Georgetown (Washington, D.C.) and called to have me drive it down to pick him up, and his girlfriend (my roommate) was to come with me. He saw me coming from about 2-3 blocks away and ran up the sidewalk to meet us then so I didn't have to drive it any more than absolutely necessary. And I am not now, nor was I then, a bad driver but he was really very obsessed with his car. In retrospect, I can't say as I blame him though, as I'd probably be the same way if I had a car similar to that one! Great post, Trav.

Linda: You couldn't make a bad choice between the two.
WT4W: Psssst...my folks have a '66.
Sarge: I couldn't agree more.
Bee: You have impeccable taste my dear.
Marsha: Yup yup yup. My folks had one of the very first '65s off the production line in competition orange back in the day.
V: I've taken care of that little oversight.
Akelamalu: Me too!
Jennifer: They can be had for under $20k in good restored condition.
Bitter Betty: Yup.
Ivanhoe: Sadly, I have none. But I would have the '56 Baby Bird.
Sandee: Yes ma'am. A pretty simple guy am I.
Songbird: It was my pleasure. Hehehehehe.
Jeni: If you have a chance to check out any car shows, I definitely encourage you to go. These machines are magnificent when you can get right up next to them.
Mike: I'm not a Chevy guy, but I do like the Z and the Vette.
TC: Clearly you are an excellent judge of automobiles.

Hard to go wrong with that list. I'm partial to Camaro's, but if any of them were offered to me, I wouldn't turn it down.

Oh yeah, so now you go find some pics. Great, just great! LOL.

The new retro T-birds just don't quite get it done for me. Give me that 55-57 Bird any day!!!
-
hey Hey HEY....that 46 fat fendered ford pic was taken in Capitola...next door to Santa Cruz!!!
-
Wow...Hemi Cuda...I loves to go fast! I'd take that, the 'Stang, the Camero and the Cougar. I love muscle cars.
-
Jeff: Ditto.
Drilleraa: Hehehehehehe! And the retro Bird was a good step for Ford. But nothing beats the original.
Katherine: I didn't check the history of the image. That's pretty cool! You might have seen that baby buzzin' around town.
Sanni: If I can't have my Baby Bird, I'd take that Vette.
Starr: Fast is good.

I think my Dad paid 5,ooo for it and got it running pretty cheap. It may have been even less.
You say 20k and I feel sick inside.
BUT, I have wrecked EVERY car that I have owned, with the exception my current vehicle, so at least the Mustang had a fighting chance AWAY from me.

More gorgeous cars, Travis! Every once in a while I see a parade of these cars on the highway going to a show... Beautiful! :)
I'll take the Mustang, thank you very much! Though that T-Bird is kinda nice, too ... hmmm ... decisions, decisions!
