We're hanging out watching the games today. Pam's Seahawks have a bye this week. I don't get to see the Raiders this week. None of the games we get today were all that compelling to me to do play by play.

After that rough 8-8 start, I've had back to back good pick weeks, 11-4 and 12-4 to get back to my standard 66% rate. I know I'm late getting these up today. I've been a little lazy.

Panthers over Falcons
Bengals over Browns
Jaguars over Texans
Broncos over Chiefs
Saints over 49ers
Jets over Cardinals
Bucs over Packers
Titans over Vikings
Chargers over Raiders
Bills over Rams
Cowboys over Redskins
Eagles over Bears
Ravens over Steelers

I may post some observations later. Enjoy the games or whatever other Sunday activity gets you going.

  1. I'd take a high school team over the browns. and I live in Cleveland. what does that tell you.

I've got several football raffle tickets from a school fund raiser. I'm game to win just $25 this week.

In the past three years we haven't won a thing.

  1. The Saints won and played extremely well. Brees is a helluva quarterback, and we've got some great recievers.

Favorite Sunday activity: Trying to quietly do absolutely nothing.

    It's an art form.

  1. Mike: Oddly enough, the same could be said for the Bengals. This was a coin flip game.

Lois: This was definitely an upset kind of weekend, from college to pros.

Charles: I saw the hi-lights from the game. He's definitely having a great year so far.

Cathy: That's what you get when you check in on the weekend!

Janna: We quietly did very little today. Does that count?

Those NFC East picks didn't work out so well. My Cowboys just rode off into the sunset. Oh well, wait 'til next week.

Then there's always Detroit. An average 6A high school team could take them by two touchdowns. This team has wasted more running back talent over the years than any team I know. The ruined Steve Owens and Billy Simms careers. Barry Sanders finally just got frustrated and retired. Will they ever be a real team again? Probably not anytime soon.

My Bills are 4-0! They haven't had that since 1992. I am so excited! I just hope our good luck keeps going. After all the disappointment since the "Dream Team", this new young team seems to have some promise. :-)

    Hugs,
    Kimmie

  1. Lost all three fantasy games this weekend...UGH

BUT both my Survivor teams (Panthers / Jags) won and 16 people had Denver and 6 had Dallas...so from 160, after 4 weeks, we are down to 23 teams left...

    deep breath...pick wisely Vinny

  1. Drilleraa: There's just never any guarantees. As for Detroit, they need to rebuild from the top of the organization down and do it properly this time. It remains to be seen whether they have the wherewithal to do so.

    Kimmie: Good for you!

V: It doesn't get any easier to pick next week. And two of the gimmes...Cleveland and SL...have byes next week!
