Encores!

Live from Hollywood!
I must show you the Tango from Cloris and Corky. This is straight out of the 1920's. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Lance and Lacey finally got on the good side of Mr Cranky Pants. Len enjoyed this Tango, which was proper and traditional with a touch of quirky modern.
And for a third week in a row, Brooke and Derek had the dance of the night. I thought their Samba was one of the best of any season.
The judges select Lance and Lacey for the encore! Wooooooooooooooooo! How's that Starr???
We have Flamenco dancers in the house. They are called Los Vivancos and that dance was really cool. I've never seen more than one Flamenco dancer at a time.
GAH...results time. First couple safe is Susan and Tony. Lance and Lacey are also safe. YAY!
The first couple in the bottom two is Rocco and Karina. And that isn't surprising.
Mmmmmmm...I just had some chocolate melty CAKE from room service!
It's ballroom kids! This feature was introduced last season and I absolutely loved it. The kids are amazingly talented.
First up is Mitchell who is 11 and Jessica who is 10. They pinky swear that they will dance the best Cha Cha Cha ever. This is a tough age appropriate dance to do, but they pulled it off. Jessica is so cute. I loved some of the lines they hit and the extensions. Very good! Len praised the crispness and precision as well as the musicality. Bruno says they were the cheekiest, and he said that little Jessica's lines were better than Jessica Alba's. I don't think you can say that about a 10 year old, can you? Carrie Ann said they lit up the room.
Kirill is 11 and Hannah is 10. They dance Samba, another tough dance to do age appropriate choreography. These kids are terrific. It isn't often you can teach a boy that young to move like that. And she is just delightful. That was so good! Carrie Ann says they showed sophisitication in their movement and fluidity. Len loved that they captured the flavor of the Samba with their great personalities. Bruno said it was cracking and sparkling, and that they really sold the dance.
How do you pick between these two terrific pairs? I'm glad I don't have to. I like them both and I refuse to pick a winner.
But the judges must choose, and so they decide that Kirill and Hannah will advance to the finals. Awww man. Let's just have all the kids keep dancing!
Ne-Yo is in the ballroom. I'm sorry, but I don't know who this is. I don't listen to this kind of music, but I did enjoy the performance. His dancers are very good.
Who else is safe? Brooke and Derek are joined by Cody and Julianne. Toni and Alec will also return next week, as will Warren and Kym...and Maurice and Cheryl.
That means that Cloris and Corky join Rocco and Karina in the bottom two. Cloris and Corky are safe.
...which means Rocco and Karina are out.
I can't wat until next week! The remaining couples will try four new styles that have never been danced on the show. We'll see the Hustle, Jitterbug, Salsa, and West Coast Swing.
Sweet!
Well, my Dodgers face elimination tonight in Philadelphia in game 5. They were ahead 5-3, but the bullpen couldn't hold the lead and gave up two 2-run home runs in the top of the 8th to lose 7-5 in game 4 to the Phillies.
Dangit.
I remain faithful and will throw what I hope is not my final GO DODGERS of the season.
GO DODGERS!
Dang, I fell asleep again. Glad I got to see Len tell us they wanted to see Lance and Lacey again! WOOOOOOOOOO!
I want to be Cloris when I grow up.
