Happy Turkey Day!

Posted: Thursday, November 27, 2008 by Travis Cody in

I'm so pleased today to be with my family. It's been a long time since I got to spend Thanksgiving with what I consider to be my whole family - my mom and stepdad, my sister and brother-in-law and niece, and of course my Lady.

We usually have a pretty traditional meal with turkey and all the fixings. Since I'm writing this post in advance, I don't know if we'll roast the turkey outside. My brother-in-law does that really well.

Of course there will be football on all day.

And we'll finish off with our standard pumpkin pie.

I hope your day is as wonderful as mine!

If your Thanksgiving turkey and pumpkin pie looked even half as good as those in the pictures, it had to be a good celebration. Adding family to the mix -definitely the icing on the cake, isn't it?
