Yes my friends, we can have encores without results

Yup. Even though there are no results from last night, we can still have encores.

I'm trying something a bit different this time, because so often the clips get pulled for copyright. Even though I always promise that I'm not posting them for any monetary gain, and only because I LOVE dancing, the clips still get pulled.

So, I shall give you a picture of the pair who has earned encore honors and provide a link to the clip. Sound ok?

Here we go then!



First up is the unexpectedly fantastic Gilles Marini with partner Cheryl Burke. Despite a wonky music selection, their Cha Cha Cha was sexy and cheeky and outstanding. Click here.



Next we have the youngest ever competitor in 17 year old Shawn Johnson with partner Mark Ballas. They captured the fairy tale that a Waltz should be, despite a few minor criticisms from the judges. Click here.



Finally, we have the surprising Melissa Rycroft with partner Tony Dovolani. She had 48 hours to learn the Waltz, and she did a fantastic job. It was romantic and lovely. Click here.

    I'm torn between East Tn and Gonzaga.

    (I don't vote on DWTS cause I don't want to take the chance I will become obsessed with it...I don't want it to become personal. Not that everyone who votes is...I just know myself and my foibles...)

    A very impressive group there! And I agree with the copywrite commentary. They should be paying you! Free promotion for their show. They should be honored!

    Hope: Quite possibly, although Mr Marini is going to be a contender as well.

    Katherine: I lean more toward the Zags, although I do like to see all the mid-major (I hate that term) schools do well.

    TC: She's young, but she's also an Olympic champ.

    Lois: You know, I often root for WKU when they make the tournament.

    Ivanhoe: I saw some of the game. It was a great win for Cleveland State.
