Welcome to another Manic Monday with Morgen. Don't forget to cruise by MM HQ at the Manic Monday blog. Today's theme is Shadow.

I missed Armed Forces today, which was Saturday. I extend my eternal gratitude to every member of our armed service branches. And to the families of service members, you have my admiration for your daily sacrifices.

Trav...I've said it before and I'm going to say it again...you bring up such events like this that don't get a lot of attention and it is so wonderful that you do. I also thank everyone in our armed forces for all they do for us. I'm so grateful for them. Thank you my friend for sharing. Hats off to all in the military :)

Good reminder there that regardless of what our thoughts may be pertaining to our involvement in this war, our military troops need and deserve all the respect and support we can give them. Thanks, Trav -for doing that.

I join you in extending gratitude Travis. I am thankful for those who not only serve, but would be willing to serve if able. Some of us are called to offer support and bring attention to the sacrifices that others make.

I'm waving back - zooming or not, I'm awfully glad that you visit :)

  1. It is so easy to forget the contribution forces make. It is always good to remind people.

  1. Thank you to all of the hard workers in the armed forces! Great tribute, Trav. :)

I don't think it's ever too late to tell a service man or woman thank you for all they have done for their country. My Dad, sadly, is no longer around to hear it but I thank him on a regular basis - if it weren't for men and women like him, who knows where I might be sitting other than on a comfy couch with a laptop??

  1. Although my father is long gone, I'm proud to have various plaques & commendations from his service on our wall.
