And cue music

This was the week that Nigel Lythgoe was awarded an honorary degree, so Mary Murphy is joined by Adam Shankman, our third permanent judge. That makes me smile. Also judging this week is Lil C.
I like this New Orleans bounce style. It's high energy wiggling, but it's very cool. HA! They put him straight through to Vegas! It's going to be interesting to see if he can do enough of other styles to make it to the Top 20.
NOLA has some talent y'all! We've got some decent B-Boys, breakers, hip hop dancers, and lockers this time around. This kid Justin Kenney is amazing on the floor. He connects different floor spins, air flares, and tricks so effortlessly. And he's still recovering from a serious car accident. He went through to choreography. He struggled a bit, but got a chance to go to Vegas and try.
We have theatre arts ballroom dancers, which I'm not really familiar with. It's not Latin. It's not ballroom. It's just beautiful dancing. The lifts were incredible and her body position in the air was tremendous. He wasn't auditioning, which is a shame because he's very talented. Her name is Emily, and her lines were stunning. She went straight through to Vegas.
A young man called Jakob brought to mind former finalists like Travis Wall and Danny Tidwell. Wow. His body position and control was amazing.
It feels like we're on the never ending audition tour, but have patience. We're off to Utah next week and then it's Vegas week!
Huzzah!
I'm really irritated that my Dodgers can't win one lousy game and have allowed the Rockies to get close enough to take the NL West away from them in the final series of the season.
This must not occur.
It's one damn game.
I was surprised they put the NO Bounce guy through without seeing him in choreography...
There was some talent last night indeed.
