Five on Friday Set 1

Before we get to the tunes, I just want to say that I received my new laptop and I love it! I had a few skeery moments when I couldn't find my wireless network password, but I went to the website and was able to solve that problem.

Then it wouldn't recognize my cordless mouse. But I solved that too.

Not too bad for a tech ijit! And this was a much smoother introduction than when I bought the first machine.

Windows 7 has some pretty cool features. I'll spend time with it this weekend so I can get my settings the way I like them. And so I can start transferring some stuff from the old hard drive over here. But I'm online and able to access email, Yahoo messenger, my blog, and my Google Reader. So I'm good to go!

Now for our first official Five on Friday set. I might need a logo for this feature.

Eddie Money had more than 20 top 100 hits, including Take Me Home Tonight which reached #4 and Walk on Water which reached #9. I didn't go for the obvious for my selections in this first set. Rather I chose some of my favorites.

    god for you that you could fix the problems.now this ijit on the other hand would not.proof is the way I messed up my blog and with SANDEE'S help it got fixed.
    I enjoyed the songs.

    Take me home tonight was always one of my favorite Eddie Money songs.

    My "Eddie Money memory" was a guy that I really really liked wore an Eddie Money concert t-shirt to school quite often. I wasn't a big fan of Eddie Money but I really liked that t-shirt :)

    I liked Eddie Money, but why are so many of his songs have the same titles as standards and it always throws me to hear a completely different song.

    A banner or logo is a great idea for this feature. Maybe the number 5 superimposed over (on) the word Friday. Meh, it's just a thought.

    Makes me want to go dig through my CDs and pull out the one I have from Eddie Money, throw it on, and let it blast. Boy, does that bring back memories of times when I was much younger!

    Linda: Oddly enough, I didn't have any of his music on CD. I just had it on cassettes. They were part of my digital conversion project.
