Some of my favorite ladies have shuffled across my Ipod this week. In honor of all the women competing in the Olympics over the last couple of weeks, I give you a brava Set 5.

Here's to the ladies!

Get a playlist! Standalone player Get Ringtones

As always, you're all welcome to play along if you like. Here are some guidelines.

1. Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here.
2. Go to Playlist.com to make your play list of five songs. Choose a particular theme to share with us. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
3. I don't know how to make a specific linky, so be sure to leave me a comment to let me know that you participated.
4. No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.

Have fun!

Playlist doesn't work on my blog anymore which is why I no longer have music. :(

    I love your choices Trav.

  1. I'm up and running with show music on. Anything worth doing is worth overdoing. <a href="http://jdurward.blogspot.com>Durward Discussion</a>

    Love your selections.

  1. Question, I notice you have "The Rose" with Bette Midler's version. Are you familiar with the other songs by Amanda McBroom who wrote it? She writes and sings some of the most amazing songs.

  1. I always loved "The Rose"

  1. I am putting one up in just a few minutes. :O)

Great selections of ladies here, Travis!

I'm playing along this week myself for the first time as I just can't resist a good music meme! I combined it with my Looking at the Sky on Friday shot and I hope you'll enjoy my musical choices!

  1. Great list!
Roberta Flack is a favorite of mine.

The Roberta Flack song is wonderful.

I borrowed ONE word from you in my post today. I bet you'll recognize it though :)

Heading out the door to visit my parents! Have a great weekend Travis.

  1. I'm very, very partial to the Roberta Flack choice for today, as I walked down the aisle to that song.

    My third set is HERE.

If you have a hankerin' to hear my jazz-guitar-playing uncle, I've got a clip of his playing on my Thursday Thirteen.

  1. Travis, I have mine up now! The Commitments (5 songs of their soundtrack). I know I did them for Jamie's meme but I love them and now you can listen to a bunch of their songs. Your songs are from my romantic youth...

  1. I am having trouble seeing and hearing this. My connection is the pits today.
    Happy weekend, my friend.
