Five on Friday Set 7

Happy Friday and welcome to the weekly Five!

I love me some Dave Clark Five, so that's what you get for Set 7.

Now before you tell me that the version of Sha Na Na Na Hey Hey sounds a lot like the version released by the fictitious band called Steam in 1969, let me just say it is! DC5 released a cover of it in the UK in 1973, but Playlist.com didn't have that version even though this track says its the Dave Clark Five. So I went for Steam's hit, because it's Friday and it's a great Friday tune! You can hear the DC5 version here if you like.

    I always enjoy when you do these Trav. I'm reminded of songs I've long forgotten about and they bring memories back to me. On this playlist my favorite was "because". Loved that one when I was a teeny bopper!
