Trav's Thoughts

I can report that I've chosen the new template I want.  I like the colors and the feel of it.  I think it will be easy to read, which is the most important thing.  Then I think that it will be easy for readers to navigate and for me use as well.

I ran into a temporary snag while making the change.  I'm having trouble downloading the template.  I keep thinking I've saved it properly, but when I try to unzip the file according to the instructions, it's not working.  So I haven't been able to see the code to copy and insert to change the template.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  It's a bit frustrating, so I've set it aside for the moment because blogging should be a fun hobby and I don't like to make myself mad while I'm blogging.

For the short term, I'm staying with the current look.  You'll notice that I haven't added back all the links to my blog pals yet, or a lot of the stuff I had in my sidebar.  I didn't want to do that with the update still pending.  I'll bring them back as soon as I figure out what I'm doing wrong downloading the code.

In the meantime, posting will continue here as usual.  And remember, I started the new poetry blog.  If you'd like to visit there, you can find it at Poetry By Travis.  My existing work is uploading post by post every four hours.
