Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels kept coming up on my Ipod this week.  And that makes the band a prime candidate for Set 18.

Yeah I like that!

If you'd like to join us in the musical fun, the guidelines are basic and simple.

1. Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here.
2. Go to Playlist.com to make your play list of five songs. You may choose a particular theme to share with us, or post random tunes if that's your vibe for the day. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
2a. Don't feel restricted by the tracks listed on Playlist.com. And don't be discouraged if the Embed code won't work. You're welcome to use any type of media to share your Sets.
3. Be sure to sign Mr Linky so everyone can visit your Set.
4. No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.

Go forth and enjoy music!

  1. I'm first!

I like your criteria for putting together your set list this week, Travis. Devil With a Blue Dress - yeah, baby. And Shake Your Tail Feather. Mmm hmm.

  1. Okay, you got me dancing - Little Latin Lupe Lu and Devil With the Blue Dress are two favorites. It's great to hear different versions of them.

Let's look so far we're all in concurrence with Devil With the Blue Dress!

I went with a little thresh metal this week for a change of pace - though not ear-bleeding thresh metal!

Ooops, make that "looks like" not "let's look". Need more coffee ...

  1. I have Bono for you this week, Travis! Everybody speaks for me on "Devil with a Blue Dress." :)

Trav: Stopped by to check your set. By the looks of things, I better chip away at the supre glue on my radio dial and listen to something with a little more bounce to it . . .

  1. Never got it done as I was wrestling with the template. Finally decided to start all over again...of course that worked!

Have a grand holiday weekend Sir!

Love the music. I grew up when the Hammond B-3 was a staple of every garage band. The days of the Kingsmen, Mitch Ryder and others. Great tunes.
