30 Days of Peace Quotes

It's bad news for my pal Vinny.  Texas beat the Yankees last night to win the ALCS 4 games to 2.  The Rangers did three things consistently well during this series...they made productive outs, they got timely base hits, and they shut down the Yankee bats with outstanding pitching.  So NY will not get a chance to repeat as World Series champs.

This is the first World Series appearance for Texas.  Congrats to the Rangers.

The Giants look to close out the defending NL champion Phillies today.  SF leads the NLCS 3 games to 1.  I cannot root for the Giants...it's a Dodger thing.  But I'll be happy for my pal Katherine if SF wins today, because she's a Giants fan.

We're counting down to Blog Blast for Peace on 4 November 2010 with 30 days of peace quotes.

    Trav: That's a perfect peace quote. I like it a lot. Dignity is everything - even in a disagreement. And . . . it's Saturday. Go Irish!1!
