David Gray is a singer songwriter who has recently jumped onto my radar.  As I've told you before, I tend to keep isolated with my own 7,800 song Ipod library.  This means that I come late to a lot of good music.

I've come late yet again.  David Gray makes some great music.  Set 125 is a little sample.

Have a great weekend gang!

Babylon, written by David Gray, released in 1999

Please Forgive Me, written by David Gray, released in 1999

The Other Side, written by David Gray, released 2002

Be Mine, written by David Gray/Craig McClune, released in 2003

You're the World to Me, written by David Gray, released in 2007

I tend to stick to my own same-old collection, too. My latest new discovery is John Mayer. My niece's Facebook page always had a link to a song or album of his that she was listening to while she was in college and cramming for an exam or finals. Love his music.

There are a few others I like that I never would have heard were it not for my nephews when they were in college!

Thank goodness for college students, eh?

    Love the song, Babylon...

  1. I'm not sure if I've heard David Gray or not--I'll find out over the weekend when I return for your set.

My personal musical horizons seems endless. I'm always discovering new artists, new styles. I have an endless curiosity and an equally endless appetite for music.

  1. Not totally familiar with him, but when I hit play on Babylon a co-worker immediately said "Is that David Gray, I love him and really want to see him perform live"

I honored a lost musician today

  1. Haven't heard of him before and Babylon is a great song. I do try to avoid new as I'm still playing catch up on the last 1000 years of music making. Then someone new does something wonderful ...

They're all huge tunes - didn't know their names, but when I listened they were all very familiar.

I don't think I ever heard of him. Not bad at all! Reminds me of Coldplay a lot :)
