Are you kidding me?

The team from Tennessee was up 15-5 over the team from California heading into the bottom of the last inning of the US championship game at the Little League World Series.  The pronouncers were already starting to talk about the match up between Tennessee and Japan tomorrow for the championship.

Uhm...they forgot to tell California that the game was supposed to be over.

The kids came back to tie the game.  Yes they did.  California scored 10 in the bottom of the 6th to tie the game and send it to extra innings.

That's little league.

The kids from Tennessee came right back with 9 in the top of the 7th to take a 24-15 lead.  California got one back with 2 outs in the bottom of the inning before Tennessee closed the door to win the US Championship.

What a game.

Tennessee faces Japan tomorrow for the LLWS championship.

To be brutally honest, I'm not a baseball fan. Gasp! But I like the pride & sportsmanship these kids have :)
