Tiffany Maher or Eliana Girard? Cyrus Spencer or Chehon Wespi-Tschopp?
One favorite gal and one favorite guy. We'll know soon.
Final Cat update...gorgeous in silver!
It's a packed panel tonight. Joining Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy are Tyce Diorio, Debbie Allen, Adam Shankman, and Lil C.
We've had our cheese. We've had our bread. We've had our merlot. We've had our CAKE. We're ready for some favorite routines from the season and our results.
Let's kick it off with our Top 20 in a group routine choreographed by Christopher Scott and Sonya Tayeh. Gosh. That was brilliant. You know I would have shared it with you right here, but I couldn't find the clip.
What did our judges decide were their favorites of the season? Let's see, shall we?
Nigel selects the Contemporary routine to Unchained Melody, choreographed by Travis Wall, danced by Audrey Case and Matthew Kazmierczak.
Lil C selects the Hip Hop routine to My Homie Still, choreographed by Luther Brown, danced by Witney Carson and All Star tWitch Boss.
Debbie selects the Contemporary to Turning Page, choreographed by Sonya Tayeh, danced by Tiffany Maher and George Lawrence III.
Adam selects the Paso Doble to Unstoppable, choreographed by Jason Gilkinson, danced by Lindsay Arnold and Cole Horibe.
Tyce selects the Hip Hop to Love Cats, choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon D'Umo, danced by Amelia Lowe and Will Thomas.
Mary selects the Contemporary to Eli Eli, choreographed by Tyce Diorio, danced by Chehon Wespi-Tschopp and All Star Kathryn McCormick.
Eliana gets to choose her favorite routine, and she decides to dance the Contemporary to Bang Bang with All Star Alex Wong, choreographed by Stacey Tookey. And how cool is this...Nigel tells Eliana that she was at the top of every choreographer's list in Vegas for who should make the Top 20. And, he says that Desmond Richardson said that as soon as Eliana is eliminated from the show, he wants her for his company. She is that good gang.
Cat selects the Disco to You Make Me Feel, choreographed by Doriana Sanchez, danced by Tiffany Maher and All Star Brandon Bryant.
Chehon gets to choose his favorite routine, and he decides to dance the Argentine Tango to Breathing Below Surface with All Star Anya Garnis, choreographed by Miriam and Leonardo. I don't know that I've ever seen a dancer grow on this program more than Chehon did. That growth really took off with this routine.
Cyrus Spencer gets to join All Stars tWitch and Comfort Fedoke to dance a new Hip Hop routine with Christopher Scott. WOW! Christopher Scott also choreographed that piece. Dang that was good!
Tiffany gets to choose her favorite routine, and she decides to dance the Contemporary to Power of Love with All Star Ade Obyomi, choreographed by Mandy Moore. Her movement brings me joy.
Special performance by some animators called Dragon House who were amazing during auditions. Cyrus came from this crew and they all made it to Vegas.
Cyrus gets to choose his favorite routine, and he decides to dance the Hip Hop to Like a Criminal with All Star tWitch, choreographed by Christopher Scott. What else would he choose? This was a brilliant showcase for his incredible skill.
More new Hip Hip choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon D'Umo for our Top 10 plus All Stars. Damn! That's some talent right there on that stage...Tiffany Maher, Eliana Girard, Chehon Wespi-Tschopp, Cyrus Spencer, Witney Carson, Cole Horibe, Lindsay Arnold, Will Thomas, George Lawrence III, Audrey Case, and the All Stars.
Here we go gang. Final results.
Looky there...two ballet dancers! Are you kidding me?? That's wonderful.
Honestly, I would have been happy with the result in any combination. But to have it be two ballet dancers is just fantastic.
Thanks for taking the journey with me this season. Join me beginning next week when we switch over to Dancing with the Stars.
Later gang!
Wow! That was an especially quick season, wasn't it? YAY for ballet!
I took dance and ballet for 8 years... Did you know that? But I quit when I was 13 years old and got my first boyfriend! hahaha! And I am as graceful as a cow now. Fortunately, the family tradition is now continued. My 14 year old niece is in her 9th year of dance and her 1st year of point... what we called toe back in the day!
Have a lovely day, Trav!
