Five on Friday Set 144

Often when I select a year for a Five on Friday, I get in the Wayback Machine and bring you a Set of classic oldies or rock from the '50s, '60s, or '70s.

Not today.  For Set 144 I'd like to journey just a short distance around the musical block to 1995.  Our trip is sponsored by the first song track, because I heard it on the radio the other day.

I Will Remember You, written by Sarah McLachlan/Seamus Egan/Dave Merenda, as released by Sarah McLacklan

Kiss From A Rose, written by Seal, as released by Seal

All I Wanna Do, written by Wyn Cooper/Sheryl Crow/David Baerwald/Bill Bottrell/Kevin Gilbert, as released by Sheryl Crow

I'm the Only One, written by Melissa Etheridge, as released by Melissa Etheridge

Only Wanna Be With You, written by Mark Bryan/Dean Felber/Darius Rucker/Jim Sonefeld, as released by Hootie and the Blowfish

Reason 15:  For my grandpa.  To understand this reason, you can read my post from last year.  I only recently learned that my grandfather was aboard ship on 6 June 1944, off the shores of Normandy, France, standing watch on a tender ship in support of the Allied invasion.  I knew he was in the war and I knew he served in the Merchant Marine.  I did not know that his ship didn't only steam between the US and Britain delivering supplies.

I love you, Grandpa.
