Reason 8: Because Blog Blast isn't a fad or a bandwagon. It is a movement. It is a chance for bloggers to spread the word...because peace comes from us as individuals, spreading out in ripples across our own little corners of the world.

We speak on one subject with one voice on one day. Won't you join us? You have a voice; how will you use it? Check in at Mimi Writes or at the Peace Globe Gallery for all the details you need to make your Peace Globe and join your voice to the movement.

Join us. You know you want to.

I believe that words have power, so this matters.

  1. You had me at "Since I Fell For You" :-) ... A wonderful set and a welcome tribute to all ladies.

  1. Oh, I use to love listening to The Look of Love. Burt Bacharach was pure genius, wasn't he?

And in answer to your question"

Is having to get exactly 10 slices of cranberry sauce of out the can weird?

ummm... maybe just a little bit, Trav! But that's okay with me if that's the way you like to do it. :)

  1. Hi Everybody -

I'll be posting my set late tonight, because I'm working a sci-fi/fantasy convention in Halifax starting today - Hal-Con - and last night I really needed to rest up for the three-day fan fest.

  1. I know objectively that Annie Lennox is a very good singer, but something about her voice grates like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

  1. Anonymous says:

Yea! I'm a woman! Is there a song for a woman who will try to look perky at work without yawning and then crawl home to start the weekend? If there is, crank up the volume, cuz that would be my song for today. But . . . yours are better! GGG

  1. Akelamalu says:

GREAT choices Trav, I love them all.

  1. Jean(ie) says:

GREAT TUNES! The first two are my favorites. Classics.

  1. Great tunes. I went a little Tommy James and The Shondels crazy.
