If you forced me into a corner and threatened to take away my woobie, I could probably list some favorite songs from my favorite holiday shows...

Wait...

You understand that I'm speaking figuratively and metaphorically about taking away woobies, right?  You wouldn't really threaten a guy's woobie.  Right?

Right?

Pause.

Of course you wouldn't.

Pause.

Uhm...let's maybe just keep my woobie out of this and just go on to Set 152, which is a selection of five holiday tunes from holiday shows that I would list as some of my favorites if you figuratively and metaphorically, you know, threatened my woobie.

Which you would never really do.  Right?

Yeesh.  Now I have the heebies.

Snow Miser and Heat Miser from The Year Without a Santa Claus

Frosty the Snowman as performed by Jimmy Durante

Holly Jolly Christmas from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Put One Foot in Front of the Other from Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Welcome Christmas from How the Grinch Stole Christmas

In the immortal words of Frosty, "Happy Birthday!".

And I love every one of these! For once, we agree completely. So you can keep your woobie.

I nearly wiped out on the cat's wubba the other day... I can offer you a very sweet deal on it.

pssst... Just don't mention anything about this to them when they begin to wonder where it is. *winkwink*

  1. Now you have given me the Jeebies ... Is my woobie threatened? Now I have to sing Welcome Christmas all day long. Happy Birthday!!!!

  1. Travis, this set would be identical to my own except for Frosty the Snowman. I'd have to replace that with one of the Charlie Brown Christmas pieces by Vince Guaraldi. But if you made me choose a favorite from that soundtrack, we'd be here all day.
