Five on Friday Set 167

Lest you think me a sore loser, I'll first give credit to Syracuse.  They made shots and played good defense.

However, Indiana played weak and scared last night, essentially beating themselves with bad plays.  They had a decent strategy to attack the zone defense Syracuse plays, but they failed to execute it.  And so my Hoosiers are out of the tournament.

I still have Duke left.  We'll see how they do tonight against Michigan State.

3 Marquette beat 2 Miami
2 Ohio St beat 6 Arizona
4 Syrcause beat 1 Indiana
9 Wichita St beat 13 LaSalle

I'm stuck in the 1960s!  How about some Box Tops for Set 167?

Happy weekend!

  1. Oh thanks! Now I have an ear worm about 1960's era prostitutes stuck in my head for the day ... Sweet Cream Ladies :)

  1. I remember "the letter" and the name, the box tops, but never put them together.

  1. Cool an All Boxtop Set. I love it. I went a different route today since it Good Friday. You will see what I mean.

  1. True story - last Saturday was the anniversary of my dad's passing, so I stopped by his resting place to spend a moment there. When I got back in the car and turned on the radio, I was greeted with: "But it's all right now/In fact it's a gas/But it's all right/I'm Jumpin' Jack Flash/It's a gas, gas, gas!"

This was followed by your opening song for this week, Travis: The Letter - "Lonely days are gone/I'm a goin' home"

Then it was followed by James Brown, Papa's Got a Brand New Bag.

My dad was a big dancer and loved James Brown. LOL! I think he said another howdy to me just now through your set.

We are watching the hoops too. It is so much fun with GN's play by play. "Ah, c'mon! Ya don't dribble through a zone!" "They aren't boxing out. c'mon! Box out!" Thanks for the tunes. GGG
