Cue that theme music!

It's encores and results.

We're past halfway for Season 16 and our celebrities have started the multiple dance portion.  Some did well.  Some, not so much.  Here's what we liked.

Although they had a balance bobble, we still enjoyed the Tango from Ingo and Kym.

It was another real close call for dance of the night.  Aly and Mark danced a wonderful Foxtrot, which we could have chosen.  Scroll forward to about 1:20 for the dance.

Then there was the nearly perfect Cha Cha Cha from Zendaya and Val, which we certainly could have chosen.  Scroll forward to about 1:17 for the dance.

Then there was the Quickstep from Kellie and Derek, also nearly perfect and the first dance this season to score a 10 from Len.  We chose that one.

Good stuff.

Here's a reminder of our leader board after Monday's performances.

54 Kellie and Derek
52 Aly and Mark
51 Zendaya and Val
46 Ingo and Kym
46 Sean and Peta
45 Jacoby and Karina
43 Andy and Sharna
40 Victor and Lindsay

Someone called Olly Murs leads off the show, accompanied by our Dance Troupe with Lindsay and Gleb.  The music wasn't bad.  Emma Slater choreographed the dancing.  I like how our troupe members are getting a chance to make dances.

First results...Kellie and Derek are safe.  Aly and Mark are safe.

Twitter votes select Team Paso Doble for the encore.

More results...Zendaya and Val are safe.

Will.I.Am is in the ballroom.  I couldn't take more than about 15 seconds.  Sorry gang.  I like a lot of different kinds of music.  But I don't like this stuff.

More results...Ingo and Kym are safe.

Macy's Stars of Dance is choreographed by Aakomon AJ Jones.  There are very few of these performances that I'm not excited about.  This was one.  It was innovative, but I kept expecting some kind of interesting special effect from all the patterns that were being rhythmically walked.  Oh well.

Our pros and Troupe give us a little taste of hot Latin styles with tiny costumes.  That's 5 YEOWSAs out of 5 gang.  Henry Biyalikov choreographed that piece.

Final results...Jacoby and Karina are safe.  Andy and Sharna are safe.  Sean and Peta are safe.

That means Victor and Lindsay are eliminated.

I think it was time.  He wasn't improving from week to week and I thought he had his worst night on Monday with an uninspired Rumba and a klutzy Team Paso.

Don't forget!  Next week is the Festival of Tiny Costumes...otherwise known as Latin Night.  YAY!

Later gang.

" Festival of Tiny Costumes" lol Yeah, I think it was time for Victor. From here on out it's going to get a lot harder for the stars.

  1. Travis will be a happy man next week. No clothes and lots of legssess. ...

I really liked Victor's attitude, but he was usually a pretty stiff dancer. Now, I think Andy is dancing on borrowed time. This season is going to come down to Zendaya and Kellie for the mirror ball, with Aly finishing third. I don't think any of the guys this year have the musicality to stay with the girls. Jacoby shows flashes of brilliance, but he just isn't as fluid as the top contenders.
