Five on Friday Set 170

I thought about giving you some weird symmetry for Set 170 - like music from 1970 or something.  That would have been good.  But, to paraphrase Michael Corleone as played by Al Pacino in The Godfather Part III, just when I think I'm moving on to another XM Satellite radio station, the 60s on Channel 6 pull me back in.

I can't help it.  I love the music from the 1960s.

The victim's from the bombings in Boston and those from the explosion in West, TX remain in my thoughts.

Peace gang.

With the events of this week, it was nice to take a step back in time to happier days.

I liked your set this week. My toes were tappin' and I was smiling! Thanks. Good for the soul!

  1. Forgot it was Friday. Great set. the 60s were a wonderful decade for music. The Sun Aint gonna shine is my favorite this week, but there isn't a loser in the pack.

  1. I'm sure I've heard most of these at some point or another but none really stand out in my memory. Not like Green eyed Lady from your last set!
