And cue LEGSSES!

Here's what we liked from Tuesday's performances.

Jasmine and Aaron earn an encore with their Quickstep choreographed by Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin.  They get this encore because their Quickstep was not a disaster, as so many are, and because we celebrate the return of Tony and Melanie to the show as choreographers.  Oh, and also because we enjoyed the performance!  Click here if the video doesn't play.

Makenzie and Paul caught us completely by surprise with an effective Hip Hop routine choreographed by Dave Scott.  Scroll to about 1:23 for the dance.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

Amy and Fik-Shun continued their mastery of any style with an engaging Jazz routine choreographed by Tyce Diorio.  Scroll to about 0:39 for the dance.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

Travis Wall, Jenna Johnson, and Tucker Knox gave us a mesmerizing WOW moment, and that's our dance of the night.  It was a shame that the straps malfunctioned just a little there at the end, but both dancers never broke the spell of the story as they deftly coped with it.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

These four appear to be the best pairs, at least as far as we're concerned.  Of course, it won't be a pair that wins.  There's still a long way to go.  We'll juggle couples and add All Stars to the mix soon.

Tune in if you get a chance.

Later gang!

I think that Jasmine and Aaron's appearance was hurt by her costuming. There's a reason why the skirts are long and hide the legs in ballroom dances. The bent knees were correct, but with that dress, they didn't look flattering.

I agree. Jenna and Tucker were mesmerizing. :)
