Who would have thought that I'd miss American Idol? Well, let me get it right. I don't miss AI. I miss listening to David Cook. Did you hear? He won! Hehehehee!
Valerie Bertinelli has lost 40lbs and she looks HAWT! Of course, she's always been HAWT...to me anyway. You may or may not recall that I have a crush...since like 1976. She winked at me last June. She did NOT wink at everyone I say! She winked at me!
We had plans to go see either Indiana Jones or Prince Caspian over the weekend. Guess which one we saw. OK...I know that little game doesn't work. You're not going to close your eyes and try to guess. You're just going to keep reading until you get to the part in this paragraph where I tell you which movie we saw. Right? See! I knew it! Well guess what? Oh...I just did it again.
We had pizza for dinner and I burned the front part of my bottom lip when the sauce splattered.
Did you hear that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is going to be split into two films? Evidently the producers feel that they don't want to leave anything out. Part one is scheduled for a Nov 2010 release, with part two following in May 2011. Both films are being filmed simultaneously, as Peter Jackson did with Lord of the Rings.
Speaking of Lord of the Rings, I read that Ian McKellen will play Gandalf in The Hobbit. This is another film that will be split into two parts, currently scheduled for 2010 and 2011. I also read a rumor that Andy Serkis will reprise the role of Gollum. The character is CGI but the facial expressions, the body movements, and the voice all come from the acting of Mr Serkis.
The Spurs put on their defending champion shoes and dusted my Lakers on Sunday in San Antonio. But tonight my Lakers played like champions to steal game 4 and take a 3 games to 1 lead in the best of 7 Western Conference Finals. The Lakers nearly gave it away at the end on an uncharacteristic mental mistake by Kobe Bryant, and yes I did see the contact by Derek Fisher on Brent Barry on the final play of the game. But the refs didn't blow the whistle and ultimately the Lakers did have the answer for every challenge the Spurs could mount. The series shifts back to Los Angeles for game 5 on Thursday, when the Lakers can close out the champs and advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2004.
What's that? What do you mean I never said which movie we saw? **scrolling back up** Oh! Sorry about that. We didn't see either.
Heheheheheheheheheeee
Later babies!
I believe you that Valerie Bertinelli winked at you Trav because the same thing happened to me on Sunday evening when we went to see Shayne Ward (winner of the X Factor 2005) - he smiled straight at me and licked his lips! (phew)
