It sucks when I unexpectedly run out of peanut butter. I can go weeks without craving a peanut butter sammich. And so I didn't notice that there was barely enough in the jar to cover one slice of bread. I didn't want PB&J - it would have sucked worse if I did because I don't have any jelly either. And I didn't want PB&Butter either. I just wanted peanut butter on both slices of bread. Dangit.
I'm still getting used to the spray hose feature on my kitchen faucet. I was already bummed about not having enough PB to make a proper sammich. But now I have to change my shirt too. Why? Because I accidentally sprayed water all over myself when I used the dang spray hose feature on my kitchen faucet! Cripes!
When you share some lunch with kitty, it doesn't take him long to forget that he gets to lick the dish after you've finished eating. But you have to constantly remind him that he does NOT get to stick his face into your food before you've gotten to take a bite.
Heehee! Valerie Bertinelli has a new Jenny Craig commercial and she just winked at me! No...she did NOT wink at everyone! She winked at ME!
Oh! I saw this pre-assembled kitchen backsplash last night on HGTV. This is from Kitchen Accessories Unlimited:
Broan's new, pre-assembled backsplashes in natural stone or ceramic tile literally go from the box to beautiful in just ten minutes. But it's not just the appearance that you'll find satisfying. You also get the scratch and stain-resistance of a real tile backsplash, and the one-of-a-kind surface that only natural tile provides. What's more, our exclusive wall-hugging system holds the pre-assembled backsplash so securely you'd think it was installed permanently.
Awwwww. Don't laugh now. I'm a homeowner and these things are important, especially for a guy like me who is slightly do-it-yourself challenged. I did successfully hang curtains this weekend.
So my favorite design show on HGTV has always been Divine Design with Candice Olson. She designs classy and elegant spaces. Recently I've been enjoying Color Splash with David Bromstad. And he just did my ideal room. Check it out.
Way cool! David has a way of getting into the homeowner's mind and really hitting on the right design. I'd pay top dollar to have him design my home.
our fave peanutbutter is Peter Pan...and since their little problem last year is impossible to come by
