So here's the thing. . .I have thoughts and I'm sharing them. Welcome to my place.
A little southern rock and blues for your Tuesday. Enjoy.
Coco: Agreed.
V: It got me too. So many good southern rock bands and I managed to narrow it to 5 songs.
I was raised on 60s classics--on Cream and Beatles you might say :)
My Dad's always loved anything with a good R&B riff running through it--ZZ Top's Eliminator was a staple at our house growing up in the 80s.
Scribbit: Thanks for stopping by. I also grew up on the classics of the 60's, as well as the early rock of the 50's and even some swing and jazz from the 40's. I love music.
Very good songs. I've been wanting to see ZZ Top in concert for years, but it just never seems to work out, whenever they are in town I have things I just can't get out of doing. Maybe one day...
I spent my teen years on the beaches of South Florida, partying to Southern Fried Rock.
Free Bird is THE anthem of those of us who grew up during the late 70s.
HAVE to listen to that one on a regular basis.
Thanks for the Hatchet job too.
John: I almost missed the ZZ for this post. I was after some Outlaws and when I remembered Delirious.
DS: Flirtin' With Disaster was sort of a theme for me and the pack when I was a kid.
Turn: You are most welcome my dear.
Oh sweetie! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Molly Hatchet! Thanks bro! That just doesn't get enough play...
SMOOCH!
ooh your audio codes look stylish! I can't tell how they sound as IT DOESN'T WORK! (not that I'm getting frustrated with my inability to fix stuff on my PC)
One should stop and listen to Freebird at least once a week ... thanks for the great songs, Travis. Sometimes it's the only thing that can break through ...
