A Word About Blogs

Some of my favorite blogs are killing my eyes!!!

The light type on the dark background, while visually stunning, is visually stunning me!!

Yet I must return to these spaces because of the extraordinary content. So my strategy has been to read through the posts and then move on to another blog or two before returning to post my comments. This helps a little.

OK - my eyes are recovered now. Off I go back to my rounds.

Thank goodness I'm boring black on white. LOL Hope your eyes are getting a good rest. I know what you mean though, sometimes I feel like I'm watching a bad SCTV skit of the 3D theatre with Count Floyd. I sure hope you understand the reference, or I'm going to look silly. LOL

  1. yeah, I get what you mean... but good stuff always make you go back :)

  1. Travis says:

Tiggerprr: LOL! I did get the reference. But you have sand and paw prints - not boring at all!

Terra: Agreed. And I will continue visiting those dark wonky blogs.

  1. and then you add all the widgets, gadgets, and other flash thingys, and they take FOREVER to load...

    Almost makes one give up.

DS: Yes, almost. But I enjoy what people are writing so much. I just gotta take the visually stunning blogs in small doses. Thanks for dropping by.

Oh my Trav--you've hit a good point. I do notice that a lot of other folk have gone to the rounders/ocean color scheme like me ;)

  1. Travis says:

Turn: I really like the black backgrounds - they just jump off the screen. But they are so tough on my eyes. The lighter backgrounds and dark type are easier to see.

But it's all about the content baby! I love what I'm seeing as I discover new blogs and new peeps!

  1. I know the feeling very well...

  1. Travis says:

    V: Yup, safe.

Am: No honey - your's is fine.
