Five Things...

...about me I haven't posted before, courtesy of Desert Songbird.

1. I love cake. Just about any kind of cake. In fact, I'm a freak about cake. My current favorite is Boston Cream Cake from Safeway.

2. I completed my college degree in Business Administration in 2000, from University of Phoenix.

3. Like a lot of kids, I collected baseball cards. Luckily, I've been able to keep them with me. So they haven't been thrown out or given away or sold or destroyed in a flooding disaster. My collection includes rookie cards of Thurman Munson, Reggie Jackson, Rickey Henderson, and Randy Johnson - to name just a few. The collection has been valued at $5,000.

4. I detest listening to Dick Vitale call a college basketball game.

5. It is completely unnecessary to twist my arm or bribe me in anyway to go to the theater, or the ballet, or an art museum, or a poetry reading, or any other cultural event.

    I love cake too! Most people are pie people I find, and while I do like pie, particularly pecan pie, cake is what make the taste buds happy!

    Re: #5, is it unnecessary because you go willingly, or because no matter what's offered you won't go? LOL

    Oh how I wish I could find some veiled innuendo to comment about here, you gave me nothin'! :P

    See, I KNEW I liked you! I'm a cake person too! I like pie, but CAKE is a definite sinful temptation for me.

    Yeah, with Tiggerprr on this: do you not object because you'll go willingly or because we shouldn't bother - there's no in hell you'd ever attend a cultural event?

    I'm a cake guy myself. I like certain kinds of pie, but many pies gross me out.

    My favorite cake is a yellow cake with peaunut butter icing that my Mom and Wife make for me on my birthdays. It's like soft peanut butter fudge with cake. It's wonderful.

    I don't collect cards of any type, I'm not much of a sport fan, but I do try to buy Hotwheels every few years when they re-issue versions they had in the late sixties and early seventies when I was a kid.

    Jam: Now that cake sounds like something I need to try. I collected hotwheels as a kid, but I lost a lot of them at parks and stuff.

    And as for #5 - I will go willingly, I will propose it as an evening out, I will buy the tickets - I LIKE that stuff.

    Oh, yeah - I'm with you on the Dick Vitale thing too. As a matter of fact, he bugs me as much as listening to Joe Theismann call an NFL game - yuck.

    I'm with Turnbaby; flourless chocolate torte is AMAZING. So is molten chocolate cake. Whoa. Yum.
