Internet is a little wonky tonight, so I haven't been able to make my rounds. I'll catch up with y'all in the next few days.

Lots of filler tonight in a 2-hour results show. But first, we have encores! Here are the three free style performances.

Laila & Maks


Apolo & Julianne


Joey & Kym


Here's a recap on the leader board:

Each pair gets one more dance that the judges will score.

Apolo and Julianne dance Paso Doble. This is the one they got the perfect score on, when he put his hand down. They did the exact same routine - without the bobble. They performed very well. Judges say 10's across for a total of 30.

Joey and Kym dance Tango. This is the Tango to Star Wars music. He didn't get good scores the first time because of posture and technique. But this time everything came together and he nailed it. Judges say 10's across for a total of 30.

Laila and Maks dance Mambo. This was one of my favorites for her. Yeah! That's how I want to remember her. She is one fine HAWT woman. Judges say 10's across for a total of 30.

Those perfect scores were predictable. As long as no one fell down, they were all getting 30.

And third place goes to Laila & Maks. Dang. Well, someone has to finish third. She is the epitome of strength and elegance.

Can a woman ever win this show again?

    Thanks for the scores because I didn't realize that they all scored perfect numbers. It was fun watching them all come out again.

    Downer for the night....listening to Laila pass the word "pissed" over those gorgeous lips of her. She appeared as a pouty little teenager. Albeit a gorgeous pouty little teenager! I thought she was more refined.

    I think they could have done a nice show in 30 minutes! I was happy that Apollo won. Now when does the next one start? :-)

    Pia: So does Pam! You're right, it wasn't really a surprise. We just thought that Joey was the more entertaining of the two - they were equally good dancers.

    Julie: Well, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was making a joke that didn't work. Two hours was waaaaaay too long, even for us.

    Songbird: No doubt. He was definitely commited to doing the work and taking the coaching.

    Steven: Yup. 30 minutes would have done. I would have settled for an hour even. The next season should be in the fall, if the follow the same pattern.

    Beckeye: As a matter of fact I will be watching. Don't know if I'll do a full recap though. We'll see how the auditions go.

    Lisa: Us too! And you're welcome. I enjoyed doing it.

    Comedy: Yeah, I did have fun.

    TC: Enjoy! I'll be on my rounds soon!

    SO, do you think this has to do with my theory? I do watch bit s and pieces, so this theory is put together from that...

    The men have professional females (doh), it appears the female must do a lot in the dances. the celebrity guys can shuffle their feet some and as long as they are there for a hold, they look good...

    The female celebrities have to do much more dancing and show more range then the male celebrities...

    It is one of the reasons they do not allow lifts - it would show the shortcomings of the male celebrities while allowing the female celebrity dance partners to do their thing

    did this make sense?
