Entertainment has it's place

Getting organized is a beautiful thing. We're slowly getting it together here in Pam-and-Travis-ville.

I finally had enough room to put the new cabinet together for the living room. Collectibles will go on the shelves. I might hang the daggers tonight, or maybe tomorrow.

We bought a great media cabinet yesterday. It holds over 1000 CD's or more than 600 DVD's. I was able to get all of the DVD's and CD's onto the shelves with some room to spare.

Now the next organizing dilemma is this:

The record albums won't be a problem. They should go quite nicely underneath the table. I think there's enough space and they'll be very easy to access. But the cassettes could be a problem. I'll have to think on that one.

Of course, the most important thing we did was to re-create Mr Tucker's space in the closet. He's quite happy we did that for him.

We're getting tired y'all and we wish we were finished!

  1. OK, I'll bite - where did you get the daggers? Is each for a LOTR character or something?

I sure hope Mr. Tucker was taken care of first although pictured last. He looks pretty content there. Though with all the knives, he probably wouldn't complain.

  1. Yay for Mr Tucker! He looks happy. :)

I'm glad you guys are getting it all put together. Looks like you have lots of movies...so we'll come to your house for movie night.

    Have a good one, Trav!

  1. Jeff: They aren't from LOTR. They are decorative bowie knives. I started collecting them about 15 years ago. I had to slow down from lack of wall space...plus they are expensive!

Jam: He loves is little closet bed. We put it up for him as soon as we could.

CWM: I love that new cabinet!

    HELLO MR T!

Good to see you're settling in. That is certainly a great looking media storage thing.

I had been hoping my fella'd come read your blog and hopefully find inspiration to watch dancing and buy me gifts. Now I'm hoping he doesn't as he will probably just find inspiration to buy MORE storage solutions for cd's etc...

    Y'all are moving right along!!

Wow! That IS a lot of disks!

Yeah, it looks like Mr. Tucker is settling in quite well.

    Thanks for sharing.

  1. Organization - ergh. NOT my strongest characteristic. I wish you luck with this my friend!

Mr. Tucker looks very content - a VERY good thing indeed.

  1. TC: I hope I've bought my last media storage thing for awhile. There's still much room to grow in this one.

Turn: We're getting there. The knives that were on the floor have been hung on the wall. And the shelves on the cabinet are adorned with classic cars.

Julie: He's getting there. And I'm happy now because we can have movie night again! YAY!

Songbird: I hate organizing, but it must be done.

Ugh. I hate moving because of this very reason!!! This post made me want to curl up into the fetal position!!!
