...but I'm still a little grumpy about those 5 10's the judges decided to hand Apolo. I like the guy, but there's no way that Paso was perfect. It was good, but not perfect.

I knew it would be the encore. So check out the first 30 seconds, after the slide hold and tell me - is it a perfect score when you have to put your hand down to keep from falling on your ass?

OK. Nelly Furtado performs I'm Like A Bird. Does she have a cold? She sounds awfully nasally.

Billy Ray & Karina are the first in the bottom two.

Nelly comes back to perform her latest single All Good Things, and sounds like someone is pinching her nose. That was pretty irritating.

Wooooooooooooooooooooo!! Ian and Cheryl are safe!

Wait...that means Joey or Apolo or Laila is in the bottom two. Ruh roh.

I need some CAKE.

Laila and Maks are safe. Apolo and Julianne are safe.

Joey and Kym are in the bottom two with Billy Ray and Karina.

Finally! Billy Ray goes home.

Now we have dancers left. And if these judges decide a dance is worth a 10, then the dance damn well better be perfect. No putting hands down to keep from falling, no missed steps, and no stumbles.

And remember, this is only a TV show.

    Morning Travis, Gonna send you off some valium which is to be taken prior to judging on the dancing days in future...

    Second thoughts - not gonna send it as it's much more entertaining this way. Just don't give yourself a hernia.

    p.s. I hate Nelly... did you have Joss too? Your non-dance entertainment during the show is a little questionable this year....

    TC: We did have Joss and I didn't really care for her either. But those singers at least give the pros something to dance to, and I do enjoy watching the pros.

    I missed the show but saw Billy Ray on Jimmy Kimmel. Billy said he was glad to finally be voted off because he knew his dancing was crap.

    You know Trav, I know it's supposed to be about the dance, but judging from that clip, sometimes it's about attitude, too, and that boy has attitude in spades! I guess you would have to to be a short-track speed skater and Olympic Champion!

    Songbird: Well, you could be right. However, I will maintain that one of the criteria for a perfect score must be "lacking mistakes". He made a mistake. Attitude or not, it wasn't perfect.

    Hey Travis, I watched some of the show last night - for the first time really... just so I'd know what you were writing about... but, I have to say reading your posts is much more entertaining!!!

    Billy Ray certainly looks a lot better than when I saw him last with his mullett.

    It was time for Billy Ray to go...and thank God it happened. Yeah, I've never been a fan of Nasal Furtado's singing...except "Say it Right" which I LOVE...and she doesn't sound like she needs to see a specialist.

    Nelly has ALWAYS sounded nasal to me. It never ceases to amaze me that she is successful ... Try meditation, Trav, to get you through those "Dancing" moments.

    Ahhh.. we watch the same shows! I thought the dance where she wore the tiger-ish outfit was much better!

    You know, I watched Dancing with the Stars the last two seasons, and for some reason totally missed out on the first few weeks this year...so I just said forget it. I'm missing me some Dancin' though. :/ Do you think it's the stars...or it's Cheryl Burke that makes them look good? It sounds like you like her and Ian Ziering this year?
