Why does a cat snuggle up on ya and proceed to bathe? Can't that be done somewhere else? Snuggle time is snuggle time.

And you thought basketball was a non-contact sport. (AP Photo by Matt York)

We're making slow and steady progress on the condo. We found the rest of the kitchen boxes tonight. And I made room so we can get out on the balcony and move holiday decorations into the storage room. That should help us get to the books so we can put them away this weekend.

OH! It's almost classic car show season! Woooooooooooooooo!! 1956 T-bird babies!

Dang. Just saw the trailer for Spiderman 3. We didn't get out to see it last weekend. Maybe this Saturday.

I'm watching the Idol results show and they're trying to make me excited about the Summer Tour. Uhm...I've watched this entire season and I can't think of a reason to sit through 8 mediocre singers just to hear maybe 6 songs from Jordin and Melinda. I'll pass, thanks anyway.

OK. That does it for this random post. I'm tired.

  1. Yesterday, school kids and adults all around the Valley of the Sun were sporting nose band-aids with the #13 on them in support of our MVP Nash. I LOVED the way the Suns stomped all over those Spurs last night.

    GO SUNS!!!!

  1. Unknown says:

YeeOuch! That's gotta' smart. I'm hoping to see Spiderman this weekend myself...love the action/comic book films!!

  1. Schmoop says:

Do I sense someone having a Stream of Consciousness moment!? Bravo...Steve Nash is da man!!

  1. Songbird: I see some are calling for the Suns to fire the trainer because he couldn't get the bleeding stopped. Geez! The cut took 6 stitches after the game!

Steven: No kidding! Spidey is my favorite super hero.

Matt: Perhaps. Nash is a fine point guard and a tough guy.

  1. well i came over here thinking you might talk about cake today, sigh... anyway, hi trav! hope the moving is going good honey.

    smiles, bee

  1. Glad the move is going well, meaning internet and cable are working fine. The rest will take care of itself.

  1. Lisa Ryan says:

moving tires ya out, doesn't it!? hope you get to see spiderman this weekend, it got rave reviews by the male members of my family. I haven't seen it yet either.

  1. Trav, as you know from my posting on reality shows, this was the first time I have allowed myself to experience "American Idol". I was less than impressed. I can't imagine the criteria that people use when calling in to vote for the show. I can't imagine why anyone would call in and vote in the first place.

    And GO PISTONS.

As for Spiderman, don't rush. It could have been a great film, but Raimi crushed too much in and lost his perspective. Disappointing.

  1. GAH!

Dude I had lasagna for lunch! Man...

  1. TopChamp says:

don't know about the cat thing... ours didn't do that so much. Our new friend Dixie the big ginger tom cat is currently lazing on the arm of the chair my fella's sitting in. We only picked him up today and he seems really chuffed to be in a house not a cage again, but is a little bit too wary to sit on us quite yet.

He's also a bit confused by the typing noises I'm making so I might be off now.

Quite excited about new spidey film - have free tickets for next weds from office work... woo hoo!

  1. Meribah says:

Ouchie! Now, THAT had to hurt! What's worse than a cat sitting on you and licking itself? How's about a puppy lying behind your bed, doing goodness-knows-what and moaning like a porn star while doing it! LMOO :P

  1. Anndi says:

Dogs do it too.. and it's NOT something I need to see...

I've lost my appetite after that pic...

So when are you baking a cake?

  1. Tisha! says:

packing, unpacking can be such a chore...keep it real sweetie!

  1. Bee: Sorry, no CAKE today.

    Dub: We're getting there.

Lisa: I'm hearing mixed reviews, but I still want to see it on the big screen.

Stewart: I guess with Idol it comes down to this - do any of the singers speak to you. Taylor Hicks spoke to me last season and I voted my fingers bloody for him. This season, I enjoy Melinda but have not been compelled to vote.

Starrlight: Dang! I didn't have your advance menu copy. Sorry!

TC: Congrats on the new kitty! Mr Tucker is sitting next to me and bathing again. **sigh**

Meri: Well, at least we're spared the porn thing.

Ann: No baking - we go to Safeway and get our CAKE. Perhaps this weekend.

    Tisha: We diligently keep working.

  1. Ok Trav tonight I am having sesame chicken. Please keep that in mind when posting tomorrow :P

  1. tiggerprr says:

I would first like to say that Starrlight is making me hungry. And don't get me started on the multiple mentions of cake. hehe

I can't wait to see Spiderman 3 also. I hate going opening weekend here, because it's tourist season, so can you say crowded? Next two weeks are taken up with 2 "Bike Week"s where Myrtle Beach gets an influx of bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts, making it impossible to do anything and adding about an hour of drive time to all trips. So...I'll be going to work...and coming home. :(

That guy's nose looked owie! :(

Oh and btw...I don't find Melinda boring, it's just that she's been perfect from the get go, so it looks like she's not growing throughout the competition. Which may be true, because you can't really grow on perfection. Vocally speaking, I don't think she can be beat but I do find Jordin to be more of what I think the producers want to be AI.

  1. BeckEye says:

That guy is what Michael Jackson will look like if he has any more plastic surgery.

  1. Julie says:

    Yeeeeouch!

As far as Mr. Tucker...baby if it's there he's going to lick it.

    *hugs for the tired fella*

  1. Ian and Cheryl get my vote! They always look fantastic and give every dance their 100%. Ian is not a professional dancer like Joey Fatone, or a professional athlete like Apolo or Laila, so he comes to the show at a disadvantage to them. But yet he stays up with them in talent. A week ago he received six straight "9s" from the judges, so he definitely has the potential to win. I hope he surprises everyone by giving us his best performances in the next two weeks and capturing the trophy. If you like Ian and Cheryl, please do your part to vote for them on Monday -- vote 4 times for each phone number and 4 times online. Also, Ian has really cool videos on his websites at www.IanZiering.com and www.MySpace.com/OfficialIZ and there you can sign up to receive his fun email blasts.

  1. I was over by Sun Studio recently.. have to scan a picture I took with you in mind...well, someone suggested I take it with you in mind....but I took it...with you in mind

  1. Mags says:

Ugh. That nose still makes me cringe...

  1. Barb says:

I always feel better after I get my books put away when I move! My kids hate that I have so many of them though because the boxes are so heavy!

And like Ryan Seacrest said about the tour.. We'd get to see Sanjaya again. *Twirling a finger in the air* So Blake goes home next. Who do you think will win?

  1. Spiderman was great!!! Go see it. :)

The nose picture grossed me out. Ugh!

  1. sigh, well since there was no cake today i am afraid i tagged you with melon's meme. sorry, it is about guitar stuff and i thought you might know how to do it...

    smiles, bee

ps: next time i bet you'll have cake! ha ha ha
