Things I did on Monday night that were quite satisfying

Made all my normal blog rounds.

Checked the links over at MM HQ and visited all the Manic Monday posts of everyone who signed in at Mo's.

Watched the boring MNF game with no sound. Tony Kornheiser irritates me.

Talked to my mom on the phone. Mr Bailey and Mr Newby are quite pleased to be home. They travelled well in the new motor home.

Checked in on Dancing With The Stars. There are just six days left until the show debuts on Monday Sept 24. The men dance first on Monday, with the ladies following on Tuesday. Here are the pairs:

Helio Castroneves (champion Indy Car driver) is paired with Julianne Hough
Mark Cuban (owner Dallas Mavericks) is paired with Kym Johnson
Cameron Mathison (All My Children) is paired with Edyta Sliwinska
Floyd Mayweather (champion boxer) is paired with Karina Smirnoff
Wayne Newton (yes, that Wayne Newton) is paired with Cheryl Burke
Albert Reed (model) is paired with Anna Trebunskaya
Melanie Brown (Spice Girls, Rent) is paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Sabrina Bryan (The Cheetah Girls) is paired with Mark Ballas
Jennie Garth (Beverly Hills 90210) is paired with Derek Hough
Josie Maran (The Aviator, Van Helsing) is paired with Alec Mazo
Marie Osmond (yes, that Marie Osmond) is paired with Jonathan Roberts
Jane Seymour (Dr Quinn Medicine Woman) is paired with Tony Dovolani

Prepared a light snack of cheese and sliced salami, fresh fruit, chunks of sourdough bread, and a bottle of Robert Mondavi merlot for my lady.

Travis, I am a "lurker" reader of your blog. I don't have time to comment (six kids and a blog of my own), but I truly love all the cool things you do over here. In that spirit, I have given you an award on my blog today, called The Best Kept Secret Award. You may pass it on to others if you choose. The code and instructions are in the post below. Enjoy!
