Mo's Manic Monday - One

Welcome to another Manic Monday with Morgen. Don't forget to cruise by MM HQ at It's A Blog Eat Blog World. Today's theme is One.

I could have written another sports post today. Tonight is the BCS Championship game between Ohio State and LSU. The NCAA would have us believe that the winner is the national champion of college football, thus making then the number one team.

Since I disagree with that premise, I'm not writing about that.

Instead, I'm sharing one of my favorite songs from Three Dog Night.

    I liked Three Dog Night back in the day. "One" was a great song, however, I was more of a Creedance Clearwater Revival fan and still buy John Fogerty albums. I happen to be listening to "Blue Moon Swamp" right now.

    I linked to you today. I don't want to start you on your rant, but I think there will be peace in the middle east before there is agreement on how to determine the national champion in college football - Not gonna happen.

    No one will fully agree on a playoff system. The "plus-one" game that is being talked about won't get agreement either. The BCS in college football is like the electoral college in presidential elections - it's not perfect, but I can't think of anything better....
