Thursday 13 - CAKE

Anyone who has visited here with any regularity knows that I love CAKE. And yes I always captialize the word CAKE.

My favorite is Boston Creme CAKE. Whenever I need a CAKE fix, we head down to the Safeway and get it.

Who doesn't like a whimsical castle CAKE? I posted this for Mimi's birthday.

According to Miss Bee and Sarge Charlie, there's nothing better than Chocolate Melty CAKE. Who am I to argue?

It's perfectly fine to have Coffee CAKE for breakfast. And you don't even need to have it with coffee!

German Chocolate CAKE isn't really from Germany. Who knew?

Aren't these nice? Individual gift box CAKEs.

Betty Crocker and a bunt pan made it easy for a bachelor to always have Marble CAKE.

HA! Rememeber Rubik's Cube?

Play a hand and then munch on your winnings!

I guess you can make a CAKE in just about any shape, if you have the patience for it.

Taking Marble CAKE to a whole new Vanilla Fudge level.

Now this one looks light and delicious...a Wafer CAKE.

Wedding CAKE design can be outrageous these days, but I prefer something simple and elegant.

I hope you enjoyed my little CAKE retrospective.

I'd answer, but I'm too busy looking for something to eat. Maybe, cake?

  1. If I were on a diet I'd call you an evil man for posting this right after New Years. But I'm not, so bring on the cake.

  1. Charles mentioned not being on a diet & neither am I, but we have no CAKE at home right now, so I will call you evil. *L*

  1. Jeni says:

If given a choice, I tend to be more oriented to pie -especially lemon or coconut cream - or cherry too -or pumpkin, apple - I even like mincemeat. But man, seeing all those different kinds of cake really made my mouth water for a big slice of cake of some kind! Maybe I'll have to bake one later today - if I can stay awake that long, ya know.
    Cheer! Good post.

  1. RW says:

I like that rubik's cube cake but it puzzles me why.

  1. Lisa: Hehehe! We're having CAKE this weekend, either to celebrate the Seahawks' win in Green Bay or the end of their season. But one way or another we're getting CAKE!

V: I should switch to coffee CAKE for breakfast instead of my chocolate donut.

Linda: That's some pretty powerful CAKE!

Jeni: I like a good pie too, especially banana or chocolate cream.

    Roger: Now that's funny!

    Dallas: Isn't it great?

Drilleraa: Doesn't that wafer CAKE look delicious?
