And the madness continues

March Madness has been in force all week with conference tournaments. Winners get automatic bids in the NCAA tournament. Talking heads have been trying to tell us all week which teams are locks for at large bids and which teams are on the bubble.

These locks and bubbles change with every upset and every predicted result.

And it's all to give us this...

...so that we can follow the road to this...

It's the day. In just a few more hours, the brackets will be filled with first round games in four regions.

And then...they play.

It's two teams in a play in game...

...then 64 teams down to the Sweet 16 after the first four days...

...down to the Elite 8 playing in the regional finals...

...down to the Final Four...

...down to the championship game on April 7.

Who will have their One Shining Moment in 2008?

  1. I can't wait, I can't wait, I CAN'T WAIT! Go Dawgs! (And I don't mean the same ones Sarge does, you know.)

  1. hi trav. of all the sports i think i hate basketball the most. well, maybe right after jousting. it has to do with the noise, the sound of those rubber shoes on the hardwood floors making that horrible sound, it drives me over the edge.

    but the cake is good...

  1. Sarge: Yeah they did. That brought back memories of when I used to coach in a youth league. We would play 2-3 games several days in a row in tournaments. Fun times!

Songbird: The seed and regional is going to be key for Butler. If they get a good position, I'm thinking they could get to a regional final.

Bee: I LOVE the squeaky sneaks! But don't worry...I'll have plenty of CAKE and dancing mixed in with hoops over the next three weeks.

I hate basketball. But, every year I would do one of those dumb brackets for the heck of it and I always picked UConn to win, just because I liked their mascot. They never won and then the one year I didn't do the bracket, they did. Thus making me hate basketball all the more.

As an OU alumni and now living in Arkansas, I have a soft spot for the Big 12 and SEC...and yes the Dawgs had their day today!!!

I put a UTube On My Site! You will be proud of me! LOL!

I am going to try to do the meme. I have to see if I can figure out how to add the text and pic to it. I would love to see the stars all around the universe!

Remember to get up and STRETCH!!!

  1. does it bother you at all that March Madness now extends into April?

  1. DrillerAA says:

The Razorbacks get Indiana in the first round. If they can manage a first round win, they'll face North Carolina and the end of the road. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

  1. Beck: Each to her own I guess.

Drilleraa: But what will you do now with OU, Arkansas, and Georgia in the field!

Kimmie: Good job on the video! And good safety tip about stretching once in awhile.

    Katherine: Nope.

Drilleraa: I actually think Arkansas can get by IU and give UNC a game. Maybe they won't advance further than that, but I don't think they'll go down without a fight.
