Make a wish

Linda at Are We There Yet has designed the Make a Wish meme.

I like these kinds of things because it gives me a chance to practice my graphics skills. I'm such a tech ijit, but the recent Message in a Bottle and this meme have given me more confidence with my graphics program.

So here's the rules:

1. Think about what it is that you want more than anything, what your heart's desire and fondest wish is, and what it is that you would wish for if you were to see the above wishing star flame across the night sky.

2. Right click and SAVE the blank graphic below.



3. Use a graphics program of your choice and place your wish on the picture.

4. Post the Make A Wish Meme and your wishing star on your blog along with these rules.

5. Tag as many people as you like so that there can be wishing stars all across the Blogosphere and ask them to please link back to me so that I can see what wishes others have made and share those wishes with others.

I love classic cars. Every summer I attend three or four car shows in my area. I love Fords, from the Model A to the 30's era roadsters to the 40's era fat fenders to the muscle cars.

I'm not doing a specific tag. I think this meme is fun, and if you like it too then you should do it.

    Oh, that is a very cool car! I love the robins egg blue and white top.

    Nice work with the graphic program.

    I have the 2001 T-Bird in black and have mixed feeling about it. It's a beauty and lots of fun, but is a 'look at me' car which I DO NOT like (I hate having to explain why I don't have the top down), it messes my hair when I do put the top down and it just doesn't work for Costco runs!

    Hopefully you've been a good boy and your wish will come true :)

    Nice meme Travis! Love the car. We have a Candy Apple Red '57 Chevy. He did all the work himself. Hubby put it up for sale last summer, but nobody wants to pay what he is asking so its still here! He refuses to give the car away and I don't blame him. I am sure he is not upset with not selling it at all! LOL! It has more of a Street Rod look to it, alot of chrome and I love it! I imagine we will have the car forever. Thats okay though, I was happy when it didn't sell. I watched him put many years of hard work into it and it is a part of our history. Money comes and money goes, but having a car like that is a blessing.

    I hope your dream for you T-Bird comes true. I am a Ford persons too! Hubby is the Chevy Guy!

    Charles: I enjoyed it. Plus it gave me another excuse to post a picture of a T-bird...not that I really need an excuse!

    Linda: I'm definitely saving for it. It's frivolous in this day of concern over fossil fuels and the effects on the environment. But as I get older I've realized that a little something frivolous is ok.

    Mike: No worries. I'm a tech ijit too most of the time.

    Songbird: Cool!

    Dottie: Now that's an instruction I'm happy to follow!

    Heather: I almost bought one of the 2001 models. I love the body style...a mix of modern and classic.

    Jennifer: Good luck! It is fun!

    Kimmie: The '57 sounds great! I've seen some really nice ones at car shows. You should post a picture some time.

    I will post a few on my blog today, hubby is working on the engine...again...and the front bumber is off in the ones I have right now. But it is still pretty. :-)
