Mo's Manic Monday - Pull

Welcome to another Manic Monday with Morgen. Don't forget to cruise by MM HQ at It's A Blog Eat Blog World. Today's theme is Pull.

This was the first thing that popped into my mind...Bullwinkle and his classic, "Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat".



Then I thought of the classic Radio Flyer. There was no better way to pull your toys around the neighborhood.



Then I thought of the drawer pulls we installed in our bathroom. We love the bronze finish.



Then I realized that no matter how fed up I am with drug cheats in professional sports, there's no way I can go through an entire spring and summer without pulling for my Dodgers!

    Although, when it comes to baseball, my favorite team is now -as it has always been -The Pirates! However, I have always liked the Dodgers but I confess to being really upset when they moved west many years ago. I also always loved Rocky and Bullwinkle - so much great silliness. But that picture, that sandwich, oh man -that did me in. Made me really, really hungry!

    Travis, great video and pix for the PULL theme. You reminded me about about Opening Day. Is it opening day for all the teams - the Mets too? I have a picture of the new stadium they are building (I live a hop, skip and a jump from Shea stadium). I think I'll put it up for Weekend Snapshot.

    i "almost" like baseball, at least i understand it. unlike football where there is a goal and no goalie, that sport will never make any sense at all to me. great post trav, but you could have worked in cake somehow, couldn't you? ha ha ha

    Yankees got rained out in their home opener...and i agree...I will forget the cheats and enjoy pulling for my team

    Gattina: I guess I didn't do too badly.

    Jeni: Plenty were upset when they moved. But folks out here were ecstatic to get both the Dodgers and Giants with a built in rivalry that we could add our own legends to.

    Anthony: That's a good thing.

    Turn: The SAWX???? Hmmmm.

    Ivanhoe: Good luck to your team!

    Nancy: Your Tigers are picked to do well I see. My Dodgers are a mystery this year.

    Akelamalu: Three more basketball games next weekend, and then sport will make occasional appearances through the spring and summer.

    Teach: It's official opening day for most clubs. A few began yesterday and I think the Red Sox had their first game last week in Japan against Oakland.

    Jamie: My advanced soul salutes you!

    Charles: I always wanted a Radio Flyer, but the wagon I did have was quite servicable. We fixed a tow hitch to my Big Wheel.

    Sarge: I think I found some good ones.

    Drilleraa: That sammich makes the mouth water, doesn't it?

    Bee: But you know there's always CAKE over in the sidebar!

    Mo: LOL!

    V: Are you gonna be able to get up for a game in the last year of the Stadium?

    How did you find that video? I looked all over You Tube and couldn't find that one anywhere! I'm impressed you pulled that off! Guess it just meant I wasn't supposed to write about Rocky & Bullwinkle!
