Of course I would love this program! It's all about CAKE!

Ace of CAKEs (my caps) airs two 30 minute episodes back to back on Tuesdays at 10pm on Food Network. The program is about Chef Duff Goldman and his band of merry bakers at Charm City CAKEs (again my caps). You can read more about Chef Duff and the program here.

Here are some of the creative CAKEs.

Visit the Charm City CAKEs (my caps again) website. They do deliver up to 4-6 hours from Baltimore, but they don't ship their CAKEs.

The stadium cake is just awesome. My friend had a Heinz field cake for a grooms cake at his wedding. It was pretty cool and yummy too!

    Miss Bee: Yup yup yup!

    Sarge: Indeed.

Songbird: The personalities on the show are a bit wacky.

Starr: His CAKEs sure as hell do!

Linda: I always expect a lot of extra inedible stuff on the CAKEs, but many times the whole creation is really made of CAKE.

    Jeff: It's fun!

    Akelamalu: I know!

Ivanhoe: This week they did Fenway Park.

V: I love this fondent thingy that makes the outside of the CAKE so smooth.

That is amazing! Mmmm. I love cake-making.

Currently I have a cat scarf on which makes me wonder how Mr T is doing?

  1. That does it. I'm moving back to DC

  1. I love the buildings cake. I'd take a picture of it, freeze it, and never eat it.

    But that's just me.

I have made some cool cakes in my day (Hulk, a toilet seat for a 30th Bday, a hot tub with a couple in it) but not ANYTHING like those.

But you know, if the cake is pretty but doesn't taste good? Waste of cake!

I'm sure being a pro his cakes taste good. But um, SO. DO. MINE.

But I don't want to be on TV... adds 10 pounds you know - that and all that cake :)

  1. Kanani: CAKE is the best!

    Dianne: Indeed.

Julia: I know! But somehow I'd do it because I LOVE CAKE!

Katherine: According to customer testimonials, they taste quite good.

TC: Mr Tucker is doing quite well, thanks!

Jamie: It would definitely be a consideration!

Mimi: Somehow I think you could convince yourself to munch on it!

    Cheesy: Ooooooooh thank you!

    Meri: Almost indeed!

Merelyme: Probably not, but I have the same temptation!

    Ann: You must!

Jennifer: A toilet seat???? Now I do agree that if the CAKE doesn't taste good then it doesn't matter what it looks like.

  1. Some cakes these days are so innovative! They're not so much mere "cakes" as they are tasty works of art.
Speaking of which, I have a nice, big chunk of such chocolate "art" in the fridge right now...Later! ;)

    These guys/gals are awesome!

  1. j says:

So I have to answer that...
Toilet seat: Horse shoe shaped pan, blue icing in the center hole of the horse shoe, 30 written in store bought VERY chocolate icing. I bet you can picture it now, right? :)

  1. Julie says:

Fun, fun fun! I was at a friend's house this weekend and she made a snowman cake complete with a pretzel rod broom and licorice whips for the straw part. It was so fun!
